  1. I've read in fanfics before where Pegasi offer their beloved a pinion feather like an engagement ring.
  2. Gonna be a witchy witch this year, with a velvet cape and a sparkly hat!
  3. A cute sunshine. I love to sing, and do art, and make people happy! I have a lot of interests, but I think my talent is optimism, hehe.
  4. So, I'm looking for an app-based virtual pet game. I don't have a great internet connection at home so offline access is a must. I'd prefer if it wasn't a clicker game either. Any favorites out there?
  5. I'm a Roman Revivalist, and consider myself religious. I honor the gods and make offerings, and live my life in an honorable manner.
  6. As a roman revivalist, I don't believe in heaven and hell as such, but I believe that there is an afterlife. It's good to honor the gods and honor one's family, and I believe I'll be rewarded in the afterlife. However, I don't think other people in other religions should conform to my own beliefs... maybe there's more than one afterlife...? Who knows!
  7. There are a lot of great Flarity fanfics out there. I think the two are super cute together! They have spa days together.
  8. Those pictures you used are gorgeous. I might be a Terrorcon convert now
  9. I like Roddy! He had a great arc of character development in G1. I think the problem is that everyone compares him to Optimus. Surprisingly, Soundwave remains a steady favorite in all incarnations. I liked him in Prime where he was a silent creepy sort of mech, and I liked him in G1 with his huge family of cassettes. That said it's nice to see Jazz on a favorites list! He's one of my faves too. I like his cool attitude and how his whole aesthetic is about rock and roll. I should have put more bots on my initial post instead of just mentioning Starscream, lol. There are so many I really like.
  10. So, I looked around a bit, and didn't find a great thread with this subject so... I ask of you, one Hasbro franchise to another, which is your favorite transformer? Personally, I like a lot of them, but when I have to choose a favorite... I really like Starscream. I appreciate how in G1, he's always trying to accomplish his evil goals, despite near constant failure. That said, I like how in later Gens he can also be a nuanced character with his own quirks and ambitions beyond just usurping control of the Decepticons (it was neat to see him be really manipulative and scheming in Prime). Also, wow I love his color scheme in G1, and think it should have been kept for later gen installments. XD So who's your favorite transformer?
  11. It may be hard for someone who started from the edginess of Prime to go back to G1 for a bit, but I promise you won't regret it. I haven't read the IDW comics, but I hear they're astounding, like even people who know nothing about the franchise hold high praise for More Than Meets The Eye and sister comic Robots In Disguise.
  12. How does one be a fan of Nightvale without shipping those two, so perfect... As for me, *drags out the old shows* hoo boy: Teen Titans Starfire/Redstar (You don't even know how much I will ship this rarepair until I die) Star Trek (OS & TNG) Data/Geordi Picard/Riker or Picard/Q (I know, the point is to have a One True Pairing, but I can't decide, yeah?) Kirk/Spock Metalocalypse Toki/Murderface Nathan/Charles Star Vs Star/Marco/Tom (Love Sentence Concerts tho??) Hamtaro Boss and Bijou! Ace Attorney Maya/Phoenix Gumshoe/Edgeworth *sobs* Mia/Godot Gargoyles Goliath/Elisa (the original otp) annnnnd don't shoot me Xanatos/Owen Transformers (G1/Comics) *quietly* Megatron/Starscream Optimus/Ratchet Skywarp/Thundercracker Even though some of these are fandoms in which I'm not active any more, these are the ships that I was crazy about, and still am, and will sail to the ends of the earth
  13. I've been watching MLP with my sister since she was about five. She's nine now, and can follow the overarching plot better than she could when she was five. On the other hand, I have younger cousins who like the show because of the main characters, songs, etc. I asked the cousin once, who her favorite pony was. She answered: "Fluttershy, because I'm shy too." and you don't have to know about Fluttershy's story arc to respect that.
  14. I adore Fluttershy and Rarity, and Twilight with Luna. Lately though, Twilestia is growing on me. One thing I'm certain of though, is that I LOVED Vapour Trail and Sky Stinger in the recent episode. Those two are so cute!
  15. I agree. On the other hand though, I'm glad that they aren't dropping the franchise altogether as happened with GI Joe.
  16. Putting Japanese words on things can be unnecessary, but I thought I'd make an exception for this cute pic.
  17. I agree, however supposedly Parker and Stone said that after trying that format for a while, they were sick of it. I think Trey's exact words were that the next season was going to toss all the political jokes and have more "kids being kids." I look forward to it, cautiously optimistic. I wish I could find that article again...
  18. Welcome to the Shining Sparkle fan club! A fan club devoted to Twilight Sparkle, and her brother, Shining Armor. Do you ship the two? Do you simply love their cute interactions? Maybe BBBFF is just your favorite MLP song? Well buddy, you've come to the right place! Let's clap our hooves for Shining Sparkle!
  19. I thought that the whole episode was done very well. I think that Maud's new home is gorgeous, and I love that she lives closer now. Also, I agree with the person above, who mentioned that we might be seeing the creation of a new mane six...
  20. Oh my gosh, the voices are sooo cute! Squee! Pinkie Pie and the CMC have such cute voices! <3
  21. As a Roman Reconstructionist, I do ceremonies for the gods at home on the family altar. However, as I am still living with my parents and under their rules, I'm obligated to go to a terribly close-minded evangelistic church where most teachers and preachers make blatantly incorrect statements about minorities and other Christians. I have no disrespect for the christian faith, but I will not tolerate willful ignorance. I usually surf the forums on my phone.
  22. To elaborate on this great response with my own "two bits", shows that have politically incorrect humor generally turn me off, except when the characters are likeable. South Park for example. It would be hard to enjoy that show if I wasn't enchanted by the characters. That being said, I really just don't think Family Guy is that funny. I've watched some episodes, and I find myself frowning rather than smiling. I can't explain exactly why, but my gut instinct goes "meh..."
