Perfect is a subset of overpowered

like squares are a subset of rectangles

It goes beyond merely being perfect. From my understanding, it originally meant a character who was the obvious self-insert character for the author, specifically those where the author is very obviously writing the idealized versions of themselves where the story and characters bend to their presence.

let's keep it as "maliciously perfect".
