    I think I have found the hardest fight in any Pokemon game. The final fight with Cyrus in Diamond and Pearl.

      It's mostly because the Pokemon have a problematic moveset. The Gyarados has Earthquake so you can't switch into an electric type. Combine that with the fact that they are over leveled.
