    According to the MLP Wiki, the next episode is written by Cindy Morrow. She's hit or miss writing either amazing episodes like Sisterhooves Social and Hurricane Fluttershy or bad episodes like Owl's Well that Ends well and One Bad Apple.

      Looking at it, it does kind of seem like an episode she'd write. She's handled RD well in the past, so I have high hopes, but I'll still keep my expectations in check

      I'm looking at the episodes she's written right now, and it looks like she can characterize RD well as seen in Read it and Weep and Hurricane Fluttershy and I guess she was well in Griffon the Brush off.
