    Thou should definitely do that someday Well, the problem then is - I shall need to spend more time in the woods and at the water, instead of writing/posting hither, or drastically change mine schedule (I prefer night walks to evening walks, in the earnest).     I definitely need a filter, that's given, but that shan't nearly solve the problem of taking photos in very dark areas. It irks me so much - I can see everything perfectly without the additional light, but I can't relay all the beauty to you, without it... or affecting the image somehow. I'm not a pro likewise, mine lief. Mine camera hath the IR filter as part of the body hardware assembly, I believe. I'm not a specialist in reassembling DSLR cameras, thus don't want to kill it arrant *giggles* Having IR filter as part of the lens assembly, would surely be a solution... Thanks. Verily! Much appreciated *hugs* I simply want to share the awesome views, which are part of my everyday... pardon, everynight life Those bats were so cute!!! *squeaks*

    The funny thing is, every DSLR camera hath an IR filter, but thou can't turn it off without disassembling the DSLR camera, so... I need some solution. The IR lightening itself is not a problem, but as I said, the colours shall be not natural and that's undesired. Although, I can share a few photos of the Full Moon above the woods (as the light was enough, unlike when I came across the cute fluffy bats family last night). Thanks, mine friend, for believing in me. I guess, I need to find the way to make mine camera more acceptive to IR, without fiddling with its interrior severely *chuckles*

    Not bad, thanks, mine friend! I was quite busy today and the last night likewise. I discovered that I need better equipment, if 't be true I want to share the glorious views of mine night and nocturnal forest dwellers with you all, mine valorous ponies. The existing camera is not able to capture the scenes properly, I need better lightening and better objectives... IR is considered likewise, but it distorteth natural colours...

    Well, today's "flower hunt" was successful, mine valorous ponies. Despite we came across the road repairs on the way thither and some clouds tried to sabotage the photoshooting conditions deliberately, we managed to take quite a few pictures. DSLR camera taketh very large in size and dimensions photos, so I was to resize and compress a few to share them with you all. Hither they are:

    The area those flowers grow is a dry zone between swamps (unfortunately for this forest) and a severe forest fire befell hither in 2010, as you can see the nature is regaining, but slowly...

    At the moment it's mostly grass and low shrubs, birch trees and pines are returning to the area though. The ground is rippled by the heavy fire fighting machines... So, don't pay much attention to the mud, dry wood, etcetera.

    They bloom only for a short period of time, as you can see, some are forming the seeds already. So, we were extremely lucky to catch them.
