This seems as good a time as any to revive the topic, as we're likely to get an answer with the season 7 premiere! Personally, if I had to pick, I'd say 'Prince', as it corresponds nicely to Celestia and Luna, and distances him from Queen Chrysalis a bit. But I got the distinct impression from the Finale that he was going to be called 'King' - no idea if I just made that up o.0 -

I'm with you there, but then again I think gendered marketing is a societal ill There's also something a bit uncomfortable about a show whose core message was originally "there's no wrong way to be a girl" being used to sell toys that focus almost exclusively on such stereotypically 'girly' interests like dressing up a bride for her wedding. Because we all know, Cadence's main concern was how her dress would look! I'm not fond of some of the existing r63 names - Dusk Shine, for example, always came across as forced to me. I'd like to see someone start a new naming trend for r63 magical ponies. Ooh! Has something Nebula ever been used? -
Me! This'll be my first convention Stateside in several years. Ooh, then a question to you and anyone else who's been to multiple conventions: each con has its own vibe; how would you describe BABScon's?

That makes sense - I was afraid that the cheap rooms had sold out or something. I'm still tentative because we have relatives in the area, so I miiiiiight be staying with them, but that's nowhere near confirmed yet. If anyone comes along in the next week who super-duper-absolutely wants the space, go ahead and give it to them, but I'll try to have a definitive yes or no by the 24th.

Put me down as potentially interested for one of the spaces in the second room, depending on how my plans go. I am a bit confused, though - the fee for the room in the convention block for four nights is around $500, right? Four bed spaces at $150 each plus two floor spaces at $100 each is a total of about $800, so what kind of fancy-pants rooms did you book?
