  5. I enjoyed it. I liked Coco (although shouldn't her mane and tail be black?) and I was glad to see Rarity getting her due in this, as well as the previous two episodes. I'm still not that fond of Manehattan, though. I'd prefer it as more fairy-tale (tail) and less like our own world.
  6. Jenny Nicholson (Friendship is Witchcraft) for ScreenJunkies.

  9. I don't play much at the moment but I always go back to LotRO.
  10. I hardly ever go to the cinema anymore (too expensive and inconvenient, and anyway most cinemas are just fairly big rooms rather than the theatrical experiences of decades ago) but I'll see if a friend wants to go.
  11. She might want a more private spot. If she were just moving one kitten that might mean it was sick and needed to be taken to the vet but if it's all then she might be moving them around to protect them from anything that might notice a regular home, especially if it's not too hidden. Perhaps they're too close to food and she thinks it will attract predators? http://www.mothering.com/forum/347-pets/324370-any-idea-why-my-cat-keeps-hauling-her-6day-old-kittens-around-hiding-them.html
  12. I live in a fairly small suburb of Cape Town (which is a pretty big city in spite of the name).
  13. Mm, not one. Just popular music? David Bowie The Rolling Stones Syd Barrett/Pink Floyd Serge Gainsbourg Air The Libertines Marc Bolan/T.Rex/Tyrannosaurus Rex The Beatles The Small Faces The Velvet Underground Stevie Wonder The Byrds Kate Bush Jacques Dutronc Francoise Hardy Jane's Addiction The Smiths The Clash The Stone Roses Pulp The Manic Street Preachers Motown in general Lots of others.
  14. Reading about the French election and thinking 'Thank goodness for Macron'.
  15. - Thumper from Bambi - Judy Hopps from Zootopia and, although they weren't cartoons first - Moomintroll from the Moomin series - Idéfix/Dogmatix from Asterix
  16. Economically I tend to be centre-left. Socially (so far as they can be separated) I'm probably further left, with a fairly strong belief in personal freedom so long as no harm comes to others - but I include animals to a much, much higher degree than the mainstream. I dislike the tendency of much of the modern left to see the world in categories. Categories can be useful to explain the world to a certain degree but they should never replace the individuals being categorised. I very much hope Macron wins in France. https://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2?ec=-5.25&soc=-6.21 http://8values.github.io/results.html?e=72.4&d=75.0&g=65.2&s=85.8
  17. Frustrated. But straight, pretty much. I tried to think myself bisexual when I was younger but it didn't really take.
  18. Reading apprehensively about the French election.
  19. One of Red Letter Media's parodies/eviscerations of other, lesser YouTube channels.
  20. Well. That went on a bit longer than expected.
  21. The French followed by the Italian. The Soviet one was good, too, and I like the Japanese. And the Romanian. The Greek one has great words.
  22. Thanks. I don't think FiW has officially ended but they haven't made an episode in quite a while. Jenny Nicholson and Griffin Lewis (Griffinilla) have their own successful channels now.
  23. I tend to hope not. One of the attractions of the series for me is that it's set in a beautiful land where friends don't die, in the the same way that Asterix and Obelix can always return to their village and we can always return with them. You know that time must pass (Obelix was a baby when he was dropped in the magic potion) but the events in the series itself are largely outside time. I don't think that's a bad thing. Time passes quickly enough in real life. It could be done well but I'd be more against the idea than in favour of it.
