The purpose of starlight is to have Twilight have a pupil and fullfill the same role as celestia as a mentor and grow as a leader. Now that part is done, she is basically another one of the mane characters. It is the mane 7 now, maybe even the mane 8 depending on how hard they want to ship starlight and trixie together.

I am not sure if I could rank them in any order. It would take a long time and tons of thought for me to do something like that.

Check it, Sonata Dusk is dead, Adagio ran away from home and Aria?, well no one has seen her since she got arrested in Japan for trying to smuggle 3 pounds of cocaine in her briefcase. Doing 7 years for that, a slap on the wrist if you ask me man. We ain't going to be seeing them any time soon.

There was a war that lasted a couple of years when she was a filly, her parents talents were magic, so they were soldiers. When the enemy attacked her village, her parents were there to help get her onto a cart that led the young ones to safety. She wouldn't see them again, the last thing she remembers is seeing her mum and dad put up a magic barrier to shield them from magic blasts and seeing cracks forming in it before losing all memory of anything that happened then and about an hour afterwards. A year later, she discovered she was exceptionally well talented at magic, but unlike other ponies who study and learn magic, her talents were natural. She could cast spells without having to study anything at all, or learn the mathematics or any parts of how the spells function. One day on a field trip with the classmates from her orphanage, a large bear had been seen charging them from out of the woods. It was too early for bears to be waking up, so it probably woke early and was very hungry. In a panic she had stepped forward in the front of the line they were all standing in and instinctively projected a reflection barrier that bounced the bear backwards by using the bears own running force when it collided with her shield, sending it flying away. After receiving much praise from the other orphans in her class and the head of the school that was with them at the time, she off handedly remarked that she remembered hearing that her own parents were defensive magic specialists. On realizing that her parents that she lost a while ago were also specialists in defensive magic, she knew exactly what she wanted to do. To practice magic, defensive magical spells so that she could protect other ponies like what she just did then, and what her parents did for her, but unlike her parents, she was driven, driven to master barrier spells so strong that "NOTHING" will ever break them, that her protection will never break, never falter, and never give way to any force no matter how strong or persistent. She wanted to be the worlds greatest shield master...oh...and flowers....she really loves those too!..and then poof! A 5 pronged star shaped flower appeared on her butt.

Each princess has their own kingdom, so naturally they have a society and an economy of some kind. Do these ponies pay taxes? How far does each of these kingdoms reach? Is Canterlot like Washington DC?, is everything divided up by ruling, and if so, what jurisdiction does each pony have? If the ponies pay taxes, does that mean that during tax time, Twilight has to regulate this and accept and distribute the tax money to where it goes? How do they work that out since all we ever see is the X leader and nothing else but guards? Also, why doesn't twilights kingdom have guards? All the others do! Friendship is basically something the ponies worship like a religion, the pope rides around in a bullet proof cage all the time, so why doesn't she have any protection from would be harm-ers? Cadence and the two sisters do! Also, does ponyville have a prison or a courtroom, or do the law breakers get sent to one of the big cities? Does the friendship kingdom even have Police? Why not? Not even a sherrif? You expect us to believe that not once in the kingdom of friendships entire history, not one pony has done something really really bad? Like violent or drank too much hard cider and needed to be put in a cell for a while? Not once? What about Fire fighters? Do they exist? Has nothing ever caught fire, or a cat got stuck up in a tree or a filly stung by a bee? Where is the Government at?

I LOVE Trixie!, but I don't really like how they are making her ignorant selfish side look recently. It feels like to me they are pushing that side of her too much, instead of her friendly kinder or fun side more. I really hope they develop her further with more starlight x trixie episodes. Eh..hem... "which" not witch darling!
