@Digital Blitz "Yeah, I think he would. I dunno what's happened to the old man though. If he hasn't kicked the bucket yet, he'd be old as dirt by now." Crimson paused when her badge suddenly lit up and glowed, promptly answering the call. "Agent Glare, this is central. We've picked up on suspicious activity and are sending you to investigate."

@Digital Blitz "He sounds like a real stand up kinda guy. You're lucky to have such a good dad." Crimson affectionately put her arm around around Digi's shoulder. "Y'know, the greatest man I've ever known was a man named Colonel Northstar. I served under him when I died, and he was a class above most of the military brass. He cared about every last person who was under his command. He'd never stay in officers' quarters and would always drink with us. He'd make sure to always let us know that we were doing a damn fine job, and Northstar liked to personally look after the younger recruits until they had their legs. The man never acted like he was better than us."

@Digital Blitz "Really?" said Crimson with a soft smile. "Why don't you tell me about your old man then?" She didn't stop Digi from leaning on her, despite the fact that it wasn't entirely professional.

@Techno Universal Crimson turned and faced the other guards, murmuring about what to do with the strange android. After a couple minutes, they seemed to reach a consensus. "Alright. Maybe we can put you to work doing something useful."

@Digital Blitz Crimson couldn't help but smile, and it was a wide smile at that too. "Guess you got some good taste in music then, kiddo," she said as she ruffled Digi's hair and sat next to her on the bed.

@Pripyat Pony "We wouldn't have been hired for the job if we couldn't," said Crimson with an ever so slight smirk. "Now, we know where the crystal is, but we don't have any intel on the kind of security we're looking at. It's gonna be a little touch and go."

@Pripyat Pony "Well, you're right about that." Crimson stood over the floor plan, examining it as she spoke. "Tomorrow morning, we'll be taking a train to the capital as just regular tourists. The day after that, we'll be taking a civilian tour of the military command building, which is where the diamond and those documents are being held. We're going to break off from the tour here for a 'bathroom break'," Crimson pointed at a spot on the floor plan. "From there, we're going to sneak through a vent and make our way to the diamond."

@Techno Universal "You created Equestria? How the hell is that supposed to work?" said Crimson. "I say we put a bullet in its head and dump it in the river," suggest another guard, which got some approving murmurs.

@Digital Blitz On the tape was a variety of classic rock songs, such as Fortunate Son, Paint it Black, Sympathy for the Devil, Hush, and Run Through the Jungle. "This is all the stuff that was popular back when I died," said Crimson, returning Digi's smile.

@Pripyat Pony "Since I left the guard, my dig has usually been mercenary work, but I've had enough training in espionage to pull this off. Besides, we have something valuable to the princess: deniability." Crimson pulled a piece of paper from the suitcase and laid it on the table. It was a floor plan of the Saddle Arabian military command center. "How much have you been briefed on the mission?"

@Pripyat Pony "You'd be right," said Crimson as she took off the cloak. "I'm Crimson Glare, former Royal Guard Speical Division." Crimson knelt down and began looking through one of the suitcases to see what gear they had been provided.

Crimson gave a nod in response and led the zebra upstairs and to a room at the end of the hall, then produced a key from her cloak and unlocked it. The room had been booked and prepared in advance, so all their gear was waiting for them in two unassuming suitcases.

@Digital Blitz "Yeah, good things souls can't get sick. C'mon, kiddo, how about you see what's on that tape?" Crimson seemed a bit eager for Digi to play the tape; probably the first time she had broken her cool, even if it was just slightly.

@P-Jay At this point, Crimson was itching for a fight. It would have given her great satisfaction to wipe the smug look off the dragon's face, but she also had the feeling that it would only prove the dragon right if she sunk that low. "Okay. Sure. Let's talk about something else."
