    @Digital Blitz "Yeah, I think he would. I dunno what's happened to the old man though. If he hasn't kicked the bucket yet, he'd be old as dirt by now." Crimson paused when her badge suddenly lit up and glowed, promptly answering the call. "Agent Glare, this is central. We've picked up on suspicious activity and are sending you to investigate."

    @Digital Blitz "He sounds like a real stand up kinda guy. You're lucky to have such a good dad." Crimson affectionately put her arm around around Digi's shoulder. "Y'know, the greatest man I've ever known was a man named Colonel Northstar. I served under him when I died, and he was a class above most of the military brass. He cared about every last person who was under his command. He'd never stay in officers' quarters and would always drink with us. He'd make sure to always let us know that we were doing a damn fine job, and Northstar liked to personally look after the younger recruits until they had their legs. The man never acted like he was better than us."

    @Digital Blitz "Really?" said Crimson with a soft smile. "Why don't you tell me about your old man then?" She didn't stop Digi from leaning on her, despite the fact that it wasn't entirely professional.

    @Techno Universal Crimson turned and faced the other guards, murmuring about what to do with the strange android. After a couple minutes, they seemed to reach a consensus. "Alright. Maybe we can put you to work doing something useful."

    @Digital Blitz Crimson couldn't help but smile, and it was a wide smile at that too. "Guess you got some good taste in music then, kiddo," she said as she ruffled Digi's hair and sat next to her on the bed.

    @Pripyat Pony "We wouldn't have been hired for the job if we couldn't," said Crimson with an ever so slight smirk. "Now, we know where the crystal is, but we don't have any intel on the kind of security we're looking at. It's gonna be a little touch and go."

    @Pripyat Pony "Well, you're right about that." Crimson stood over the floor plan, examining it as she spoke. "Tomorrow morning, we'll be taking a train to the capital as just regular tourists. The day after that, we'll be taking a civilian tour of the military command building, which is where the diamond and those documents are being held. We're going to break off from the tour here for a 'bathroom break'," Crimson pointed at a spot on the floor plan. "From there, we're going to sneak through a vent and make our way to the diamond."

    @Techno Universal "You created Equestria? How the hell is that supposed to work?" said Crimson. "I say we put a bullet in its head and dump it in the river," suggest another guard, which got some approving murmurs.

    @Digital Blitz On the tape was a variety of classic rock songs, such as Fortunate Son, Paint it Black, Sympathy for the Devil, Hush, and Run Through the Jungle. "This is all the stuff that was popular back when I died," said Crimson, returning Digi's smile.

    @Pripyat Pony "Since I left the guard, my dig has usually been mercenary work, but I've had enough training in espionage to pull this off. Besides, we have something valuable to the princess: deniability." Crimson pulled a piece of paper from the suitcase and laid it on the table. It was a floor plan of the Saddle Arabian military command center. "How much have you been briefed on the mission?"

    @Pripyat Pony "You'd be right," said Crimson as she took off the cloak. "I'm Crimson Glare, former Royal Guard Speical Division." Crimson knelt down and began looking through one of the suitcases to see what gear they had been provided.

    Crimson gave a nod in response and led the zebra upstairs and to a room at the end of the hall, then produced a key from her cloak and unlocked it. The room had been booked and prepared in advance, so all their gear was waiting for them in two unassuming suitcases.

    @Digital Blitz "Yeah, good things souls can't get sick. C'mon, kiddo, how about you see what's on that tape?" Crimson seemed a bit eager for Digi to play the tape; probably the first time she had broken her cool, even if it was just slightly.

    @P-Jay At this point, Crimson was itching for a fight. It would have given her great satisfaction to wipe the smug look off the dragon's face, but she also had the feeling that it would only prove the dragon right if she sunk that low. "Okay. Sure. Let's talk about something else."

    @P-Jay "You keep running your mouth and I might just have to shut it for you." Crimson's anger was only growing, and she certainly didn't make any effort to hide it. "You think I only killed them because I had a grudge? The city was burning, and my squad could have been helping a lot more if we weren't held down by those prisoners. Maybe you can sit on your high horse now, but you weren't there when it happened. You weren't there."

    @Digital Blitz "You'd be surprised, actually. A lot of the agents around here have a soft spot for kids, myself included. I guess it's just because it's sort of... Tragic, to see someone die young. People around here are actually gonna be nice to, if a little patronizing." Crimson finally found what she was looking for: a portable cassette player that looked brand new, along with a cassette and some headphones.

    @P-Jay "Unreasonable hatred? They were out there killing fucking civilians." Crimson looked back up from her food and over at the dragon. It seemed as though there was a bit of anger boiling in the red mare. "You can't judge shit unless you were there yourself."

    @Digital Blitz Crimson decided it would be best for both herself and Digi to pretend as though she hadn't heard it. The two got to Crimson's quarters, where she began to root through her things in search of Digi's surprise.

    @Digital Blitz "Yeah, that just means you got the hots for him. C'mon, kiddo, we got things to do and places to see." Crimson tried to make her explanation as brief as possible and pulled Digi on by her shoulder. The last thing she needed was Digi getting a teenage crush on a ghost that was at least four centuries older than her.

    @P-Jay Crimson raised her eyebrow, but decided to continue "If you really wanna know, it was back during the changeling attack on Canterlot. I was a squad leader with the Guard, and we had three changeling prisoners. The Guard needed reinforcements practically everywhere, and I wasn't about to sit on my flank guarding a few POWs. So... I had them executed so that my squad could do something useful. I lied and said the prisoners had been killed the enemy. I don't regret it, and to be honest... They had it coming anyways."

    @Digital Blitz Crimson couldn't help but chuckle. "Alright, Valiant, that's enough. We need to get going." Valiant laughed one final time, then let Digi go and gave her quite a hearty pat on the back to send her on her way. "Good luck to both of you."

    @Digital Blitz Valiant produced another laugh and put his huge arm around Digi's shoulder, pulling her in for a sort of half-hug. "You are young then, yes? A shame you were never given a chance for conquest in life, but now you've been granted another opportunity!"

    @Techno Universal At this point, Techo had about nine guns pointed at him, including the barrel of Crimson's revolver, which was pressed against his forehead. "Hold on a second. Before we tell you anything, you're gonna tell us exactly what you are and where you came from."

    @Digital Blitz "Digi, it's fine," chuckled Crimson. "This is Valiant. He's another senior agent." Valiant let out a thunderous laugh. "Come, child! I mean you no harm! I only wish to see Crimson's new apprentice!"
