  1. Well, glad to hear that, but I get paid to help other people on the team, so there IS some self interest there Wrote a powershell script yesterday that takes a CSV of connection details and for each one, uses the PoshSSH library in powershell to connect to a cisco device with those details, updates an access control list, and then saves out the changes. One of the other people on the team had around 80 devices to update, which would have taken them all day, but the script did it in about ten minutes.
  2. Site has done an awesome job on themed reactions at times.
  3. My day hasn't been terrible, but I haven't actually personally gotten anything done - managed to assist several other people in getting things done though, so in general, it's been a productive day.
  4. I quite liked the switch one - reminded me so much of the classic game boy version.
  5. Ok, that must have taken, what, half an hour? what did you do with the rest of the day?
  6. Banned because they are (and one of the original founders of the league), plus I think there is a cricket team too, but that's not actually the reference.
  7. Banned for not responding "Accrington Stanley? who are they?"
  8. She has significant flaws; her major one is the one she actively fights, which is her shyness, introversion, background-pony nature. She can use her determination to power though that, and often does, but as it is her inherent nature, she is more comfortable when she doesn't have to. Having now seen her family, it is unsurprising she is like that (and more surprising her brother is the way HE is) A lesser one is actually a conditioned response from when she was younger and was bullied for being a weak flier, in matters that don't involve animals, she lacks self-confidence and backs down from challenges; usually she has to be pushed to get past that, either by her friends or by circumstances. But the remaining flaw that she struggles with is letting small successes go to her head, and going too far; given how OP she is, she can do SERIOUS damage if she loses control, and as we see in Hoof Down and Fake It, once she gets into a persona she gives it 120% (it is possible that the "stare" is also an example of this; there is no reason why a small yellow pony should intimidate a fully grown dragon or overwhem the enchanted gaze of a basilisk, but here we are. Her "tough love" for Dashie in Tanks for the Memories is also notable) This is Pony though; the Mane 6 each have their unique flaws and reasons why the support of the others is so important in them reaching their life goals. If they didn't, they really WOULD be mary sues.
  9. I am typing this in Waterfox Portable, running within Sandboxie
  10. Indeed. I also have a soft spot for Starlight, Sunset, and of course Derpy; Twi is adorkable, but Luna is Best Princess. But Fluttershy is most adorable, and would make me feel protective as it is heartbreaking to see her cry...
  11. I don't do "best pony" really - but if I did, it would be Fluttershy so.. yeah The only MLP figure I have for myself is a tiny Flutters ,and she sits on my bedside table What can I say? she is adorable and stuff...
  12. I can agree as a Pony, Flutters is *well* OP. She has AJ-level strength, her flight disfunction apparently doesn't apply when animals are involved (that cartload of frogs, for example) or she is determined enough (hurricane fluttershy) and I don't think anypony who can stare down a full grown dragon has a problem with self-confidence. I think her (rather frequently overridden) shyness and introversion is more like a safety catch than a restriction; it also seems to lead to everypony wishing to please her (including an ancient chaos spirit) with the obvious exception of one evil rabbit and the occasional villain...
  13. Not sure she is particularly MS in either realm. She is pretty much a one-trick pony (pun intended)....
  14. Och aye the noo, the noo the noo, och aye the noo, the noo. <and that was the noos, now for the weather>
  15. No, although it has been suggested all the EqG "monster" forms were overwhelmed by the magic they had gained, and lost control to a single, dominant emotion (although in Sunset's case, she fully understood what she was stealing; Twi by contrast must have understood by the second or third example that she was literally draining the magic power from the students, but continued doing it, so is hardly devoid of blame) I feel that the line reflects Sunset's understanding - that she was "saved" by being given a second chance by those she had wronged - if you look at her pheonix song, or the forgotten friendship feature, you can see how much she owes to the huMane 5, and in literally reaching out to SciTwi, she was "paying it forward". In both cases though, Sunset and SciTwi were consumed by a selfish emotion, and became "nightmare" forms of themselves; it is interesting also to contrast with Gloriosa; while she was from one point of view acting out of a desire to protect camp everfree, it is hard to assert she was acting selflessly (hence her overwhelmed form was at best neutral, and shading towards evil). Sunset in Friendship Games was motivated by a selfless desire, so was shown as a much more pure, positive form. As she says herself, she became something beautiful - but she had let magic turn her into a monster too.
  16. Clip ends before the song though. I do agree it is an excellent song, and leads to a couple of heart-tug moments - Spike's appeal to SciTwi, and then Sunset's classic "just like someone once did for me" line....
  17. Banned because if you don't drink lots of milk, you will only be good enough to play for Accrington Stanley....
