And with that last page, the book closes on an amazing tale that spanned over 200 episodes. But don't think this means the story is over, or that I'll disappear because of it. That last moment is just begging to be written about, mark my words...

I just woke up to the news that DOOM Eternal, a game I've been waiting years for, has been delayed to March 2020!

One of the things I miss about when I lived in Illinois is being able to watch the sunrise from the horizon of a wide open field. I dunno, I was just thinking about that as I sit here watching the sunrise and all these trees and houses obstructing the view.

I remember that day. I was in 4th grade and we weren’t in school long before kids began to get called to the main office for early dismissal. At first it was only a few so we didn’t think much of it. But as the requests for kids for early dismissal increased we began to wonder. Being kids, and being before cell phones brought all information to our fingertips, we began to make jokes. “It must be go home early day!” We would say. I believed I wouldn’t be called.

So I wound up being called down for early dismissal.  I was in a good mood, and when. We were leaving the parking lot my mother told me that there had been an attack on the twin towers, and many hundreds were dead so far. Now we know what the number climbed to, but...

 I often think of how many of the kids who were excited to leave early that day were forced to grow up early. How many were going early because their parents were in the towers and killed or injured? 

To the heroes who fought to save as many as they could, thank you. To those who gave their lives that day that others may live, thank you. And to those who fight for us every day and will lay their lives down in the name of our home, thank you. And to all those innocent people who lost their lives that day and on, God bless you all. We will never forget you.
