So, not only are you charging people up the ass for your products that have the battery life of five minutes, youre throttling older iphones.

actually apple do a lot better at supporting old phones than any android vendor - most vendors drop support for a phone as soon as the new model is released, which can be less than a year.
where Apple have always been money-grubbers is in storage though; a decent phone should take a µSD card for storage, but instead, apple solder the storage into the board and charge eight or ten times the price for it as a built in. Sadly, most android vendors have started doing this too, hence me having an old S4
