Never really played these series, but sweet Celestia that quote:

“With giving people the ability to purchase Red Orbs, it’s something we want to give people as an option. If they want to save time and just want to get all the stuff at once, those people can do that.”

If I'd like to save time, I'd prefer to save money as well and watch playthrough instead, skipping some parts once in a while. Or... not care about that game at all.

That is called "Poor balancing". What is the point in playing the game if you have everything at the beginning? EqE4vfd.png I'd get bored real fast. It is understandable in New Game+ for lols, but normally like this? It's basically like purchasing cheat codes.

To the Moon with this and whoever came up with that idea. How one can proudly present such a disastrous feature? :yuck:

The way gaming is going nowadays scares me off. Nobody cares about balanced gameplay, it's all about money. :bea:

I hate microtransactions, not only because of ridiculous prices, that often are higher than the price of a full legit game, but about the balance. I extremely dislike games, that are poorly balanced (either ridiculously hard or full of OP things) and MTX (aside cosmetic effects) belong to top 10 ways to wreck it all. >_>

I hope they'll get wrecked by players, because if nobody will be complaining, they'll see that science as a successful way to beg for money and they'll be making it more extreme in the future. :twi:

I wonder if that Capcom guy knows that by simply stating that it is there to 'save time', that instantly gives people the impression that the game will be balanced to WASTE YOUR TIME, therefore making you want to pay to speed things along. If that isn't the case at all in the final game, it doesn't matter right now because how they have handled this is giving everyone a negative impression. It is just so stupid. Why not just have a super easy mode for those who could struggle? Nothing wrong with that, if someone wants a more casual experience that is totally okay with me. Instead Capcom seems to be exploiting those people here.

Yeah, I imagine it requiring tons of grinding or whatever there may be to keep wasting your time, thus strongly encourage you to buy stuff.

It indeed is simply stupid, mainly because it's a single-player game. :mlp_pout:

True, I'd never imagine "Easy" difficulty will be a paid difficulty. Science has gone too far.
