  1. It's interesting (at least to me :P) how we sometimes stop doing things we've enjoyed for no reason. Then we might end up trying it again and enjoy it so much we can't understand why we stopped in the first place...

After getting new controllers to replace the old broken ones, I played my old GameCube for the first time in maybe three or four years. Sure, my playing may not have been quite at the level it used to be and my hands got a bit sore, but in a way, it feels like I never stopped. :rarity:

It never hurts to get back into something you loved doing – maybe the interest that used to be there will return! :ticking:

Yeah, it's going to take some doing to get mine fixed because it's a rare limited edition (the PS3 that is PS2 game compatible) - or risk buying a refurbed one...

@Mirage Good luck, my friend! :kindness: I heard they removed the backwards compatibility on later editions – for some reason, they seem to do that with a lot of consoles!

I think the version of Wii I have plays GameCube games too... but I've never actually tried to do that! :P I guess playing on the original system has a certain appeal of its own...

      True.

I didn't know that about the Wii. There's also the option of using PC emulators, but last time I tried, they're kind quirky.
