That's pretty similar to my list, though I had Sunny just a little ahead of Izzy, and Pipp at #4. Though I have to say both Pipp and Zipp (especially the former) are growing on me thanks to the new series.

A Finnish song at number one. I'll have to check out some of these songs, I don't immediately recognize them based on the title... Though many of the bands are familiar to me, of course!

Happy bronyversary, my friend! Here's to many more years!

Welcome back, my friend! It's great to see you here again – the most fabulous surprise in a while!
I've been fine myself. Times haven't always been the most eventful, but thankfully they haven't been the worst either. I'm glad to hear you're feeling better than you did earlier, it's always sad to see a friend feeling down. *hugs*
Even if you don't visit regularly, I hope you make occasional visits to the forums. I'm not really as active as I was in 2018 or 2019, either... but no matter what happens, I have no plans to leave any time soon – I've had and still have too much fun here to do that.

I've only been here for four years, but even that hasn't felt like such a long time. But my experience is still somewhat similar to yours. After watching just four episodes, I knew I'd be watching all the rest, and that's what happened. And I also plan to stay here for G5 – despite my expectations not having been the highest, I enjoyed the movie for what it was.
The only regret I have about becoming a brony was that it didn't happen earlier. In addition to the show being amazing, I've had great times here on the forums – the fandom exceeded all my expectations.

My favorite is the one you made for me (though that might be an obvious choice). Out of these ones, the Punk Rarity is number one for me – I really like her mane, and the background and font choices are a perfect fit. 2 is also cool with the animation.

That's a lot of games... I've always been pretty mediocre at games, there are more that I failed to beat than ones that I did. Maybe I should get back to some of them someday, I seem to do better after months or even years away...
Out of the ones you listed, Sonic 1 is one that I really should try to beat, it's the only one of the classic Sonic games I haven't beaten.

*hugs* I'm glad to hear 2020 went quite well for you! For me, it was by no means the best year, but neither was it the worst year of my life (again, looking at things on a personal level). I hope 2021 is an even better year for you!

*hugs* I hope things improve for you soon, my friend! I hope you find a job you like better soon.

I think Rarity is best pony because she's Rarity. I agree with everything on this list, but I especially love the outfits and the drama.

Looks like "The Ticket Master" made several people MLP fans. For me, that was the case too. While the first episode wasn't bad, I wasn't sure if I was going to watch the whole series before that one. Pinkie's cheerfulness and adorableness was what did it for me, especially her random songs and that reaction to (supposedly) getting the ticket.

I guess I'll try to do the same (yay, another blog comment from me).
Movies
- Rainbow Rocks
- Equestria Girls
- Friendship Games
Shorts
- So Much More to Me
- Twilight Under the Stars
- Star Crossed
The best song in the series, and two of Sci-Twi at her most adorkable.
Specials
- Forgotten Friendship
- Mirror Magic
- Spring Breakdown
To be honest, I prefer pretty much all of the specials to the movies – I feel the 20 or 40-minute format works best for EqG.
Songs
- So Much More to Me (yeah, I really like this one – my number one MLP song in general )
- Tricks Up My Sleeve
- The Legend of Everfree
This one's the most difficult (except for number one), there are several others that could appear on the list depending on how I feel at the time – "Coinky-Dink World", "Awesome as I Want to Be" and "Monday Blues" all deserve honorable mentions, and I also really like your number one.

Definitely Gandalf, the hat is so wizard-like. Though I doubt Gandalf drank as much juice...
Looks like the blog is off to a great start. Yes, I'm really late, since I haven't been that active recently.

Maybe... Ponies with glasses are something we should definitely have seen more of, especially unicorn Sci-Twi!
Most of my favorite EqG content had some interaction between the humans and the ponies, which is probably a big reason why I liked "Spring Breakdown" more than most people seemed to.

For me, Sunset and Sci-Twi share the title of best human (the latter impressed me more and more as the series went on). What I like the most about Sci-Twi is her absolute adorkableness – I think she even beats Princess Twilight in that regard.
As for Timber, I liked the chemistry between him and Sci-Twi. Especially in "Star Crossed", one of the sweetest and most enjoyable EqG shorts.

That would be interesting!
I hadn't seen your last comment before.

Awesome! I'll have to read the story at some point, I've been a bit lazy lately.

I believe having a unique style is the best way to make it as an artist these days. Having a message helps, too. And in the end, it's subjective – there's some highly-appreciated art that looks like a child's scribbles to me, but it does appear to have value to many others.

Happy anniversary, my friend! I'm glad to hear the year has gone well!

I agree with your highlights. The debut of the most adorable pony was amazing – I wish we had got to see her more often.

I've never participated much in the political discussions (or the religious ones, for that matter) here, mostly because they don't often have the positive atmosphere I really love about the forums. I may not agree on everything with some of my friends here, but I wouldn't expect that to be the case either (and I see it as just one aspect of our lives anyway). Though to be honest, I don't think my situation is really comparable, as I haven't come across any issues being discussed here that would have the same effect on my everyday life as this does on yours.
In the end, it's your choice, and I'd probably feel the same if I was directly affected in the same way. I hope the situation improves for you soon! *hugs*

I like them all myself, not sure if I even consider them guilty pleasures. I doubt the first three would get anywhere near as much hate if they were by less-known bands.
Another song by the Beatles that I think gets too much hate is "Maxwell's Silver Hammer" (I hope that's not the one you hate). It's also quite a fun song, with the contrast between the happy melody and the morbid lyrics being a large part of its appeal to me. Neither that nor Ob-La-Di is my favorite from them, but I enjoy them for what they are.

I'm glad to hear you're feeling better now, my friend! I hope your family accepts you eventually, that's what they should do.

Strange MLP Site Dream

The opposite of Riki's famous pile of brohoofs.
I actually had a vaguely MLP-related dream a few nights ago. I was at a Silverstream party. The guests were supposed to wear Silverstream-themed clothes, the only thing I could find was a pair of pants that was slightly similar in color. I have no idea where that came from, I've probably looked at too much Student 6 art lately.
