  1. It's a definite ten for me. The crew has managed to keep the quality incredibly consistent over the seasons. While there have been some weaker episodes too, I've found even the worst ones watchable. And at its best, the show is simply amazing, both when it comes to comedy and especially the more emotional moments. All of that with a lovable cast of characters – how could I not give it the highest rating?
  2. My favorite would have to be BBC's Pointless. Fun to watch, enjoyably difficult (the contestants are expected to give a less well-known answer) and with a wide range of categories (I tend to do well in the music-related questions). Also an entertaining pair of hosts with great chemistry! Some of the questions can be a bit UK-centric for a foreign viewer like me, but that's inevitable to an extent. I don't really watch other game shows at the moment. I used to enjoy the local version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire years ago, but I don't like the current version of the show (too much low-brow humor and other unnecessary stuff, and the difficulty of the questions is too inconsistent).
  3. I've used Firefox for years and probably always will. Chrome isn't bad either, but the layout and usability of Firefox are unbeatable for me. It might be just because I'm used to it, but regardless, that's how it is.
  4. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: I hope you have a great one!

Thanks for the cake! :pinkie: *noms* :nom:

  5. One of my favorite episodes in season 9 (especially the second half). I was very happy to see Gabby again – she's such an adorable griffon! And dramatic Rarity is best Rarity, as usual. Gabby's reaction to her apologies was priceless, too! Also, the scene with Gabby and the camera was heartbreaking. Yeah, I guess it isn't that hard to see which character I thought stood out the most here.
  6. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: May your day be a great (and powerful) one! 2066029.png

  7. Pistachio and Sassy are wonderful fashion ponies, and those smilies are very adorable! But I think it goes without saying which one of these I'm the happiest about! The lovely Coco smilie is finally official! Thanks to @Rikifive for creating it, and also to the rest of the staff for its official introduction!
  8. Thanks for the follow! :D

  9. Art by VanillaSwirl6, featuring Strawberry along with a few other background ponies. I think she looks absolutely adorable here (once again)!
  10. For me, the most important thing is that the actors do a good job voicing the characters, regardless of how famous they are. I thought the actors in the movie were fine. But it's indeed quite sad not to see popular characters like Tempest appearing again for cost-related reasons. Name recognition is obviously the reason why not only the MLP movie but many others as well use celebrities as voice actors. I guess it might play a part in the movie's commercial success, though I'm a bit doubtful about that – would people go see a cartoon just because of a famous actor voicing one of the characters (at least to the extent it happens with live-action movies)? Personally, that doesn't have an effect on me – like you, I wasn't even familiar with the celebrities making guest appearances in the movie (except for Sia, and Emily Blunt was a name I had heard before). On the other hand, I knew who Tara Strong was before watching a single episode of MLP. All in all, the most important thing to me is that the voice fits the character and the performance is good. It can be fun to sometimes have a celebrity appearance, if it's someone I've heard of before (like William Shatner as Grand Pear), but in the end, it's not a priority for me.
  11. It is truly undeniable – Rarity is best pony. Others may try, but this legend among ponies shall remain unparalleled in her fabulosity! Fashion mare forever!
  12. Fabulous drawing of Coco by Cyan Lightning. Recently, he has created several amazing drawings of the adorable fashion pony. Here are a couple of them, featuring Coco with two other adorable ponies!
  13. She certainly is! I'd love to see more art of her, but of the ones I've found, this drawing by phat_guy is definitely one of my favorites. Very cute (like the pony depicted), with an interesting art style! I also like how the background motif is based on her cutie mark.
  14. In addition to the Student 6, the School of Friendship has many other faithful students. One of them is the adorable Strawberry Scoop! This Earth pony (or sometimes pegasus, as seen below) has quickly become one of my favorite ponies on the show, in spite of her being just a background pony (which didn't stop the likes of Derpy from becoming very popular either ). A cheerful and friendly pony with a love for ice cream – can there be anything cuter?

Should be Coco doing the boops, but this will have to suffice! :arethosehands:

  16. Pie destroyer Dashie may just have been Pinkie's imagination, but she was amazing! Or maybe it's because she's from Pinkie's imagination! At any rate, as great as Super Rainbow Dash looks, can she shoot lasers with her eyes? Is she as dedicated to achieving her goal, as ridiculous as it may seem to others? Bring forth the worst-tasting food in all of Equestria, and give the Pie Destroyer a vote!
  17. I've never found any of them difficult at all, but somehow, I think adding is the simplest and easiest to do. I'd say adding is slightly easier than subtracting, and multiplying is easier than dividing, but the differences are pretty insignificant. Unless we're dealing with a lot of decimals, for example – then I'd say dividing is clearly harder than the others.
  18. I enjoyed the new intro myself – I liked how they incorporated the new settings and characters, symbolizing the changes in the later seasons. Though I still think it has slight flaws, the most obvious one being the music. I don't feel it syncs with the new opening as well as it did with the old one, which could have been avoided with a rearrangement of the theme (which they already did once earlier in the show's run). I was more disappointed they didn't change it for season 9 – with it being the last season and a special one (as the show crew has stated on multiple occasions), I think at least some changes would have been nice. Instead it seems they didn't change anything (unless I missed some little differences), for the first time in several seasons...
  19. Kaksikymmentäkuusi (26 in Finnish). Yeah, we have the longest words for numbers in the world!
  20. I'm not sure if anything can be done about this, but there's a potentially significant problem I've noticed lately. Posts from the "Season 9 Spoilers and Speculation" area keep appearing in the activity feed (Search -> All Activity), including ones from a thread that has "heavy spoilers" according to the title. I'm guessing at least some users use this to look at new posts on the forum (I certainly do so at times), and as such, they will see any posts from this area appearing (at least the content not placed in spoiler boxes). Is there any way to prevent posts from that board from appearing there? I guess the same might also be the case with the profiles of people who posted in these threads...
  21. Considering that I've never had that many offline friendships, I've been surprised about how easy it has been. Sometimes I even feel a bit annoyed with myself, thinking about how most of my friendships here have started as a result of other people approaching me (I should do that more often myself) – what if that had never happened? Obviously, a friendship requires some effort from both parties, but I still feel my friends deserve most of the credit for the friendships I've made here.
  22. I've listened to basically all kinds of music for years – any genre can have songs I like, even if I prefer some (such as rock). As such, I don't think becoming a brony had an effect on my music taste at all. I do listen to pony songs sometimes, but that they're about ponies is only a part of their appeal – I'm sure I'd have liked many of them anyway, if I had found them somehow (in fact, I listened to a couple of MLP songs a while before I finally started watching the series).
  23. Happy birthday, my friend! :pinkie: May your day be an awesome one! B)
