I think that scootaloo might be the kid of a pegasus and an earth pony, and was simply not raised in a household that encouraged flying. Scoot never went to flight camp, didn't grow up in Coudsdale, or Stratusberg or anywhere inhabited by only pegasi, so she grew up surrounded by earth pony influences. Her parents still exist, they just exist offscreen.

Idk. Dashie seems to really love winter. She says multiple times that it's the most awesome season, so maybe because it's her birth season? Plus, the air date of Pinkie Pride was def in the winter, so that would make sense. I also have a winter bday though, so I really would love to share it with the most awesome pony in the show.

Rainbow dash all the way. It's just my opinion, but I love her character so much, primarily because a lot of my own attributes are mirrored in her. I'm an adrenaline junkie, a tad bit cocky sometimes, and athletic, so I guess I just picked myself out of the mane 6. Her character is the most dynamic and fleshed out of the cast, and she has matured so much throughout the show. I'ma keep going bc I love dashie so darn much. She's the least materialistic, and the most down-to-earth, as she focuses on physical self-improvement, and is very goal-oriented. She's adventurous, headstrong, brash, yet lovable, and altogether the best pony. (rarity's ok too i guess)

I already did basketball, soccer, and martial arts before i got into mlp, so I mainly like rainbow dash bc of our shared athleticism

I think that the wonderbolts are an obvious riff off of the blue angels, down to their colors (blue and yellow), and their insignias. The Blue angel members must undergo military training, and serve a frontline tour before joining the squad, similarly to the academy and the reserves. However, once they have made the team, they function primarily as performers, morale-boosters, and entertainment. Their airshows are sick, and I'm praying for the day that a female pilot becomes a legit blue angel. ok cool I'm done now

While RD does have a job and a house, the age standards for when ponies can start working and living independently may be lower than for humans. Also, I would guess that the mane six are all sophomores and juniors at canterlot high, which would mean that they're around 16-17 ish. Idk just a thought.
