  1. Once more what you want to read into this is on you. It was a description of my relationship and relationship experiences as I have dated men and women. If you want to assume I am generalizing rather than speaking to my own experience prior to you even asking that again is on your own head. Not my worry. Further, in general, that IS what I can expect with MOST women from my own experience across both the US and multiple countries I have lived in or visited. The fact is that it's easier to find a guy that enjoys the life I do then it is to find a woman that does. Doesn't mean it's impossible just harder. However, that was not what I was even speaking on. I was speaking on MY relationship as it stands now and you wanted to read more into it than was there.
  2. How I describe my relationship and reasoning is my prerogative and how you take it is your issue. If you want to assume that it was generalizing gay relationships vs describing my own current one and why I enjoy it that is on you. But we both know what assuming does. Further what I described was FAR from stereotypical of a gay relationship. So once more how you wish to read into my post is on you.
  3. Good luck, hope ya get the job if you want it.
  4. I like the of them being involved in jewlry production and maybe being a high-end food critic. As for them being spoiled what I find interesting is that Dimond Tiaras dad is not a jerk. He actually forces her to take part in the ZapApple Jam festivities with Granny Smith. They guy might come off as pompous but I've yet to see him be a jerk.
  5. I am currently waiting on being Knighted and my next semester to kick off.
  6. I have the Force YES!!! And a plasma blade? SWEEEEEET! The changing genders bit is odd as is the pink hair but to heck with that, I got a plasma sword and the Force.
  7. One thing to keep in mind even with the annoying vegans is that often their heart is in the right place even if their reactions are misguided. While trust me as a veteran the overly emotional or "sjw snowflakes" annoy the crap out of me I have come to understand that people are rarely evil for evil's sake. Nor do they think they are the bad guy in their own story. Every villain is the hero of their path and every hero the villain to them So trying to deal with them with kindness and civility that they fail to initially show could go a long way to reforming their reactions. And if not it at least gives you a perspective that might allow you to ignore their foolishness.
  8. For me, the best personality for a villain is one that makes them relatable yet still able to be reviled. One that shows us the dark parts of ourselves that we hate without being evil for evil's sake. What is a pet you would own if there were no laws or monetary issues preventing it
  9. Non-alcoholic mint tea and seltzer water Alcoholic a peaty Scotch which can be served neat, on the rocks, or with a touch of mtn dew or sprite
  10. Well a bacteria was found that feeds on pure electrical energy in 2014 so i'd guess they would be classified in a similar group as feeding on love would likely be taking the chemical or electrical energy generated by that emotion.
  11. I am. Makes life easier. If either of us forgets our anniversary we dont get mad and if we have to last minute shop at a gas station a gun magazine, a case of beer, and a bag of jerky are actually gifts we'd like so we cant even tell it was last minute. Plus I can get him a gift like a new knife or video game that I want to use as well and its not a problem. Basically much simpler relationship over all.
  12. Taking rounds in my direction on a shooting range because of someone else's failure to do their job is probably top of the list. The second is having to fend off a home invasion by a guy tweaked up on some sort of drugs like meth or coke. Thankfully I didn't have to use my shotgun he had enough sense to run. So for willingly done things Id have to say leaping off a destroyer at sea and jungle survival training with the Philipines army ( highly condensed day and a half course just for fun)
  13. Not at the moment no. But my studies into what the afterlife might hold are pretty limited. My religious and spiritual views are still being refined and frankly I've hardly mastered the ethical code at this point. The spiritual stuff can wait while I get the physical down.
  14. I'd have to say the "dark ones" from the Metro series. Because they are not evil just trying to communicate in a way we dont understand and that they fail to realize is dangerous to us until it's too late. It shows the dangers lack of communication brings. What is your favorite time of day?

    general Autumn?

Autumn is cider season that alone is enough to make it a favorite of mine. But it also has the hint of snappy winter air and the scent of fallen leaves and the first wood fires of the year. I love this season just a hair more than winter.
  16. I live by the code, creed, teachings, and maxims of the Jedi Temple that I am a part of. Basically, it is a code dedicated to self-discipline and service to those around you.
  17. I decided to check out what the fandom was about and liked what I saw socially. So I figure to heck with it why not get to know other people. What is your favorite tv show that is not a cartoon or based off of a cartoon?
  18. That is why all my ink has a duel meaning. It not only marks something I enjoy but marks an event or achievement that matters a lot to me.
  19. LOL well if you look at the political thread we are both rightward leaning libertarians as well. To Everypony else Thanks very much for the warm welcomes thus far. Hope to hear and see more of ya around the thread.
  20. I am libertarian in a lot of ways. BUT I also see the flaws in it. So I learn rightwards more than left but see the flaws in most political ideologies.
  21. I tend to be pretty up front and in your face about things I enjoy. So Id answer yes and not give a buck if they take issues with it. As a veteran, hunter, martial artists, and avid sport shooter my man card is never in question. At least not to me. And my view of manhood is the only one that ought to matter outside of a few key people in my life.
  22. So can I ask are you into the show for the story and characters or the artwork? Because if it's the latter of the two I get it. But if not I am sort of confused. I mean maybe its just me but if the story and characters are good I can ignore a lot of flaws.
  23. And I cant even do a basic stick figure well. Great job.
  24. The reason I love this character is that she has a clear wisdom and fire within her that she keeps in check so as not to upset or hurt others. Maybe she goes too far with it at her own expense but all of us are guilty of that at some point.
