I agree. She should have said something, but regardless it was still pretty rude of Sun Burst.
That is one way to see it and I appreciate his efforts, yet he seemed oblivious to the fact that was the problem. He's no wrong that they don't need to have similar interest but I feel like the bigger issue was her not being included.

He didn’t do a good job and the episode acknowledges this. However, it still made it clear enough throughout that he never stopped caring for SG. So, I can buy this. Neither side is clearly in the right or wrong. That is why I love this conflict so much.
Ya, that was the biggest issue and the episode makes that pretty clear. No debate there. However, this was his way of acknowledging the mistake.
