I find this section pretty pointless. I mean, I'm on the largest mlp:fim website on the net, so obviously my interests are pickles.

Sarcasm aside, I'm an aspiring (procrastinating) artist. I'd say my greatest quality is my self awareness, and that doesn't really say much, so that's probably why I don't have any friends. I can't stand hypocrisy. Life is pretty tough here in eastern Europe, and I can't really find people with common interests (99% of them would probably make fun of me if they knew), so the internet is my go-to place for blowing off steam. Because of that, I try to stay away from drama here at all times (It's surprisingly difficult, y'know?). I don't tend to be active regularly, but who knows, maybe this place is what I've been looking for. The loneliness is overwhelming. Please send help.

  1. Hey, have you heard of neodymium magnets?

Strongest permanent magnets in the world.

^ The ones in that link are the highest-quality neodymiums you can get, and their attractive power is staggering.

The biggest magnet they sell is 4 inches by 3 inches by 2 inches (slightly smaller than the size of your two hands layered on top of each other), and one of them can lift half a ton.

You stick two of those magnets together, and you could hang the weight of a car on them.

Needless to say, neodymium magnets are immensely dangerous.

Plum-sized ones can pull glasses off people's faces even if the only magnetic part of the glasses is the tiny screws keeping the lenses in.

Cause metal objects to fly at them from distances of tens of meters.

Fry phones, computers, and pacemakers (suffice to say it is not a good idea to take these magnets into retirement homes) from even further away than that.

There are horror stories going around magnet buff communities (yes, those are apparently a thing) of things like a kid who had to have their hand amputated after they were playing with a handily toddler's-palm-sized neodymium magnet and another, identical, one flew off a distant table and connected with its counterpart while the kid was still holding it.

And a 200kg-pull-force 2-inch-cubed neodymium magnet can be yours for as little as $200. Astounding value for destructive power, wouldn't you agree?
