    Do you think there is still a connection to the human world from Equestria circa Gen. 5, like what happens if the magic mirror gets smashed, and like someone stumbles upon the portal to Equestria? Do they show up in a million pieces? Also ten generations have passed we now know since Twilight had last seen Sunset, that statue is definitely destroyed, I wonder if the magic portal has to do with the location of the statue or how the statue was made? Maybe there's some other Equestrian run aways among them in the human world...

      @Reform ConundrumFascinating, do we know if time moves exactly the same between the two planes? We do know there is more than one portal/point of access between them, but we don't know how many more than one there are. In any case, magic being quite rare in the EGVerse would mean a drastically different course of events, no? I wonder if it would even be recognizable then?

      As for a power source, that seems to be generated by the Equestrian magic that is... evidently leaking into the EGVerse?

      As for your specific question, ReCo, I think that there exists the possibility for the connection. Especially if Hasbro wants to expand their line of toys.
