    I personally think there is a huge misconception with the debate pit. Personally, a debate section of the forum can work if we keep personal insults and petty arguments out of the mix. Seeing another persons point of view helps you grow as a well-rounded person.

      I regularly police the forums and hunt down things that are report worthy, I suppose I am trying to help out the staff with their job. I want to help where I can, here.

      Let's say we have 2 friends. One of them is for political party A and the other is for political party B, one of them is a bit tolerant, while the other isn't. Person A posts something, person B doesn't like that and no longer is friends with that person. If the debate pit wasn't there or was removed that wouldn't have happened. I'm sure situations like this have happened before.

      @TheTaZe Yeah, that has definitely happened once or twice on MLPF... but I'll keep out the specifics. On the bright side, though, this is an unusually unruly day on the Forums, so I don't think things will go as awry as they did today. :grin:

      As long as we tread carefully. Its not that dificult to survive there. I see no reason for removing it as its optional to go there. The truth is. If it gets removed people will just start arguing elsewere and that will just make modding that much harder
