    I personally think there is a huge misconception with the debate pit. Personally, a debate section of the forum can work if we keep personal insults and petty arguments out of the mix. Seeing another persons point of view helps you grow as a well-rounded person.

      I wonder if not allowing political or religious topics in there will make it more enjoyable. That's where most of the heat and controversy happens.

      At least something needs to be done in my opinion. Even with stricter rules personal insults and petty arguments happen.

      @TheTaZe Honestly, I don't think there's much that can be done about that. Heated discussion is pretty much imminent in a subsection discussing serious issues, so renaming the Debate Pit would only do so much.
