      Process Explorer? its part of the sysinternals suite, since before they were bought out by microsoft; its still reachable by going to the original url (www.sysinternals.com) which redirects to technet at microsoft.com, or can be run directly from live.sysinternals.com

      worth looking at some of the other tools there too - autoruns is great for checking startups and media filters, and streams lets you access the alternate data stream functionality of NFS filesystem. procmon is a realtime log, and can be set to start during boot (so as to capture events during the boot process, for diagnostic purposes)
