  1. I don't have the extreme interest in ponies that I used to but I still somehow use pony avatars like I did many years ago when I was really into the show. I guess it's just a sort of routine now, isn't it? Of course I don't hate ponies at all, but I just find that I don't have the same level of interest as I used to have all those years ago. I can't be the only one who feels this way though.

I feel sort of the same way. I'm nowhere near as obsessed with MLP yet I keep coming here. :yeahno:

Yeah, that's quite natural, I'd say. Most interests will fade eventually – it might never go away completely, but it won't stay at its peak. That's the experience I've had with F1 – I still like watching it and wouldn't miss a race, but I don't look forward to them the way I used to. And probably the same will happen with MLP at some point too...

As for still using pony avatars, why not? :) If you've done something for years, it's unlikely you'd stop doing that all of a sudden, even if you don't have the same interest anymore.

I hear ya bro. Even my current interest in MLP:FiM isn't as much as it was a year ago, when I 1st watched the show. My interest in things do fade but I always return to them later on. It's like a cycle.
