I feel sort of the same way. I'm nowhere near as obsessed with MLP yet I keep coming here. 

Yeah, that's quite natural, I'd say. Most interests will fade eventually – it might never go away completely, but it won't stay at its peak. That's the experience I've had with F1 – I still like watching it and wouldn't miss a race, but I don't look forward to them the way I used to. And probably the same will happen with MLP at some point too...

As for still using pony avatars, why not? If you've done something for years, it's unlikely you'd stop doing that all of a sudden, even if you don't have the same interest anymore.

I hear ya bro. Even my current interest in MLP:FiM isn't as much as it was a year ago, when I 1st watched the show. My interest in things do fade but I always return to them later on. It's like a cycle.
