    I figured out what some of the roles in an MLP version of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory would (or might) be. 

    Charlie Bucket - Twilight (cause common sense...or Pipsqueak, cause it seems fitting)
    Augustus Gloop - Pinkie Pie
    Violet Beauregarde - Rarity
    Veruca Salt - Diamond Tiara (before reformation)
    Mike Teavee - Button Mash (cause obvious gamer is obvious)
