    Just got a new router installed, and I'm getting a brand new Wi-Fi extender! It'll boost the strength of the Wi-Fi signal so I'll be able to get more qualitied internet. Not FASTER internet, but stronger at that.

     

    Which means more high quality pones! ^-^

      Just a small heads up: keep your eyes on your Wifi extender. I've had my internet constantly disconnect due to the booster encountering an error of some kind. :dry:

      @Recherche No prob. It'll be in my room, so I can unplug it when needed.

      Wifi extender is basically a wifi access point connected to a wifi network card; it logs into your real AP with the card, lets clients connect to the AP it controls, then repeats what it hears on its AP to the "real" AP, and vice versa - a sort of bridge. You can also get some which use a cable (or the power lines) as the link to the real router, but those aren't wifi extenders (technically)
