I remember when I played all Ratchet & Clank games and tried to get everything to the max 

Ratchet & Clank 1 was toughest as the bolts were pretty slow to grind for the weapons 

There's a common glitch in Rilgar you can do by using a Decoy Glove on one corner of the raceway plaza (the wall next to the elevator entrance), though you have to go into first person mode, and throw it down until the camera begins spazzing out like crazy, and push through the wall onto a platform that's shaped like a UFO (it has green lights on the side), gliding down to a small set of pipes visible when you walk around enough, and gliding down to the racetrack, heading left (Right just automatically begins a normal race), going to that large set of boxes on an upper platform near the finish line, and using the taunter while the camera faces AWAY from the boxes, since a normal lap in the race resets the boxes when passing through, and taping down the button to fire the taunter, and letting it sit for hours.

BAM! Instantly rich.

Yeah I used that and left it shooting at them for the night:)
