Something we've discussed is how Minecraft needs a food update. There's all kinds of appliances, foods and recipes that could be made that just don't exist in the game yet. First off, there's the appliances you could use for these fruits if you desired.

Fruit Slicer - You can make a fruit slicer by placing Iron Ingots in an X form in a 3x3 crafting table to make the slicing base for the slicer. Then, you can put that slicer base in the menu, surrounded by 8 wood or iron, and you can make a fruit slicer block. Just place it down, and interact with it to show a menu where you can put in any fruit and slice it up into between 4-8 slices of that fruit.

Glassmaker - This idea is rather wild, and might honestly sound ridiculous, but imagine being able to create different things from glass, such as tables, drinking glasses, and normal (or sliding) glass doors. You could make a Glassmaker by placing 8 Glass in a 3x3 square, and in the middle.....I still haven't decided on what goes in the middle. I'm considering a furnace, a stonecutter, or another block that could fit the Glassmaker's style. If not this block, then you could simply put 7 glass in a 'U' shape to make a few tall drinking glasses.

Juicer - There's two recipes I've thought of for this, both with one difference. One is place seven iron in the recipe of a 3x3 crafting menu, 3 on both sides, one on the bottom, and place a glass cup in the middle. The recipe is the same for both methods, except both have one difference - Difference one is simply another iron ingot on top. The second method is placing an iron trapdoor, or an iron pressure plate on the top middle slot. Both methods could make a Juicer, which is solely used to juice fruits and/or vegetables to make mushes, juices, and other ingredients for juices and smoothies.

Apple Seeds - We have Apples, but we don't ever get much use out of them aside from Golden Apples and just eating them. If we planted Apple Seeds, we could have Apple Trees, which grow solely apples, which could be used for:

• Apple Pie - One egg, one sugar, and one apple could make Apple Pie.

• Apple Juice - Used in a Juicer (or other thought up method), and using an apple on it could make Apple Juice.

• Apple Fritter

• Applesauce

• Apple Jelly

And other apple foods could be made, depending on what we can use to make them. Like, if we consume an apple, there's a chance (or guarantee) it will make an apple seed, as people don't usually eat the seeds. This food update could also include a glass for drinks and juices, as well as a juicer to juice fruits.

Lemons - Lemons could definitely be included, with lemon seeds being found in chests or traded by Farmer Villagers. Lemons could be used to make things like:

• Lemon Slices -

• Lemonade - Add a bottle (or bucket) of water, sugar, and a lemon.

• Lemon Squares/Lemon Bread - Add one lemon, three sugar and three wheat or bread (depending), and based on whether it's bread or wheat, you can get Lemon Squares or Lemon Bread

• Lemon Pie

• Marmalade (placing it with water and sugar, perhaps using it either in a Brewing Stand or a Furnace, as boiled water with sugar and citrus peels/juices makes marmalade)

• Optionally, you could put Lemon Slices on drinks

Pineapple - Found growing in Jungles, Pineapple Plants can be harvested to obtain Pineapples and possibly pineapple seeds. You can make with them:

• Pineapple Slices

• Pineapple Juice

• Fried Pineapple (putting it in a furnace creates this)

• Pineapple Pie

Oranges - Oranges could grow on trees as well, and individual oranges could be used to split up into, say, 6-8 slices per orange. When consumed or when trading with a farmer Villager, you could obtain orange seeds to plant in the ground. With Oranges you can make:

• Orange Slices

• Orange Juice

Bananas - Bananas can be found growing on tall jungle trees, or on banana trees. You can either harvest them individually, or break off the plant to get several bunches. Bananas can be used to tame Monkeys (coming up in a bit), or used in foods such as:

• Banana Slices

• Banana Juice

• Banana Bread

• Banana Cream Pie (if Cream is added, dunno how it's made)

Peaches - Peaches can be found growing in forests on Peach Trees. When consumed or traded with Farmagers (Farm Villagers), you can obtain Peach Pit/Seeds.

With Peaches, you can make:

• Peach Slices

• Peach Juice

• Peach Pie

Coconuts - Coconuts can be found on high jungle trees, or coconut trees. When chopping down a coconut tree, there is a chance a coconut will fall, and if it hits a player, it will either do massive damage or instantly kill them. When harvested, they can be used as projectiles to throw at enemies, or can be turned into coconut milk, which could consist of a half open coconut with milk in it, or a coconut with three open holes in it.

Watermelon juice - Melon block or melon slice simply put in a juicer to create delicious watermelon juice!

SEA CREATURES

Sea Urchins - These could be chilling on the seafloor, or walls underwater, and if you land on one, or brush against one, it'll prick you with one of its spikes, and give you poison for a short amount of time.

Seahorses - Underwater creatures that like to hang onto kelp and swim around harmlessly.

Starfish - Starfish that slowly move around on the seafloor, harmlessly.

Crabs - Neutral mobs that wander around on beaches and underwater. If provoked, they'll snap their claws at you, dealing half a heart of damage.

Eels - Hostile mobs that rapidly approach you in water. If zapped, you'll experience slowness from the electricity if it's an electric eel.

Jellyfish - Mobs that float about in the water, on the surface or underwater. If you brush against one, or you provoke it, it'll sting you, causing poison and slowness for a few seconds.

Piranhas - Aggressive fish that dwell in jungle rivers, waiting for victims to step in and strike if they're near the player.

LAND ANIMALS

Monkeys - Monkeys thrive in jungles and like to climb trees, harvesting bananas and coconuts. If attacked, monkeys have a chance, when provoked, to either attack you and steal a random item from you, or throw a coconut at you to hurt you. They can be tamed using bananas, and when right clicked with a banana or a coconut, they'll automatically go to the nearest corresponding tree and harvest from it.

Elephants - Elephants can be found in the Savannah, stomping around, harvesting grass, drinking water, and even eating stuff from trees. If attacked, elephants will either try and stomp you down, or grab you with their trunk and toss you up into the air. If killed, they'll drop leather and probably elephant meat.

Snakes - Snakes dwell in forests, savannahs, and jungles, and are neutral until it either becomes night, or the player provokes them. When bitten, players recieve nausea, poison, and slowness for a few seconds. When killed, snakes will drop leather or snakeskin, of which I'm not sure what its use would be yet - possibly an alternative of leather.
