For the past few months
There was a big pain in my spleen
Had it checked out, and the cause was
I spent all my time fighting,
And the battles were really hard
Although fighting Nobodies was fun
"What the hell do I do with this Nobody Guard?"
Although it's a rare item
From Nobodies of Luxord
What I just don't get is
WHY THE SELL PRICE IS SO DAMN POOR
Okay, so, last post for a while today.
I think I've figured out how to calculate not just the amount of EXP I can gain each time I go to The World That Never Was, fighting from bottom to top, but ALSO how many of each Nobody is in that world.
There's a set amount of Nobodies in TWTNW. So all I have to do, having listed how much EXP each one gives me, is list the number of Nobodies killed BEFORE entering TWTNW, and when I get to the top of the castle, I list the number of Nobodies killed AFTER I got through the world, and subtract the new kill number from the old kill number, and multiply the resulting number by the EXP number it gives. Then, I'll add each final EXP number together, while also listing the number of each Nobody in TWTNW. the number of Nobodies multiplied with the experience that Nobody gives. It'll give me a grand total of EXP for every single Nobody killed in TWTNW.
Basically, in simpler terms, I list the number of Nobodies killed BEFORE entering TWTNW, and when I get to the top, I list the new number of Nobodies killed, subtracting the old number from it, which lists the Number of that Nobody in TWTNW. Then I multiply the EXP it gives with it, for my answer.
In the end, I'll add all the EXP totals together to see how much EXP is gained from clearing every centimeter of The World That Never Was.
Extra note to the previous status update -
It's well worth noting the synthesis item cap isn't 99, but goes BEYOND that.
Still, I'm gon work on getting a LOT of each.
So, let's see..
I have to finish:
The Character Files, Character Links and Treasures are very likely connected to the Absent Silhouette and Cavern of Remembrance Organization XIII battles.
The Heartless are the Mushroom XIII, no doubt.
The missions/minigames are connected to most of the world's and Mushroom XIII.
Synthesis notes, I just need to collect shards, stones, gems and crystals from the Heartless in the Cavern of Remembrance.
But I'm going to do something INCREDIBLY wild. I'm going to get 99 of each synthesis item that could POSSIBLY be dropped by any and every enemy. Well....maybe I'll leave out the Bulky Vendors...those are rare, hard to catch, and they just drop synthesis items that're hard to get. I'll still catch it, but not 99 times.
Mark my words: For the purpose of extending KH II and pushing other KH game completions closer to my birthday, AND to be able to practically make any and every synthesis item, I'm going to get 99 of almost every single material!
Time for me to level up to 99!
Wish meh luck!
Don't get me wrong, I love this game and all. It's just that sometimes, every so often, there's just that itty bitty, teeny tiny, twinkie Pinkie of a moment when I wish that
ENEMIES WOULD STOP FREAKING KNOCKING ME AROUND AND INTERRUPTING MY COMBOS AND WOULD JUST DIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIE!
IF THESE ENEMIES WOULD STOP MAKING IT ANNOYINGLY DIFFICULT TO NOT DIE AND PUT UP AN ACTUALLY FAIR FIGHT, I WOULDN'T HAVE TO AVOID FARMING THERE!
flips table, then puts it back
So, get this – Kingdom Hearts 2 Final Mix wants ME to go through a REALLY difficult part of the game, to not only fight the Mushroom XIII and Absent Silhouettes, but ALSO go into a difficult place known as the Cavern of Remembrance, which is home to some of the most RIDICULOUSLY powerful enemies, ALL in order to get new synthesis Materials (Shards, Stones, Gems and Crystals), in order to get an Orichalcum+, in order to get the Ultima Weapon.
So in other words – I have to go through insanely difficult challenges for the Ultima’s creation that, ironically, having the Ultima would have made those challenges much fricking easier.
Finally reached the final boss of KH 2. BUT FIRST.
A crap ton of side-stuff.
Find all chests
Collect all stickers and put them together
Play every minigame (saving the Underdrome for last)
Synthesize every item
Unlock the Ultima Weapon
Level up to 99
Complete every Underdrome Challenge (saving any solo runs and time attacks for postgame, after reaching level 99)
AFTER BEATING THE GAME -
Take on the Underdrome ‘bonus’ challenges.
Battle in all 5 Absent Silhouettes
Complete any new synthesis recipes dropped by the Absent Silhouettes
Fight all 13 data-versions of the Organization Members
Find and Duel with all 13 Mushroom XIII
Fight the optional bosses (Sephiroth in Radiant Garden, Lingering Will in Disney Castle)
completing every Gummi Ship mission 100%,
and filling in EVERY journal entry.
Well. Now I get all the Queen Novo-Bismuth jokes.
You know, I THOUGHT something sounded off about the Queen's voice.
Finding out why....it well ain't worth my business. That's right, I said BUSINESS, cuz I'm not like those other people!
My jokes may be horrible, but I at least have dignity!
I don't even have any words for this one.
DUDE. OH MY GOD. I JUST GOT TWO AKASHIC RECORDS, AN ITEM WITH A %1 DROP RATE FROM BOOKMASTER HEARTLESS!
TWO IN A ROW!
Okay, so, just a warning, I'd personally recommend ALSO checking around 10 PM in each US timezone, just to be safe. And keep checking every so often after that.
Alright, everyone remember to be up on January 21st, around 3:30 AM, because THAT is when the only Lunar Eclipse of 2019 will begin, AND be seen from countries including North America!
@Alexshy I'm glad you can do things like this.
Tonight, I start working on fixing my life.
I need to stop midnight snacking!
I need to stop staying up so late!
I need to stop doing humiliating, private things that have wasted time during the days!
I need to get my YouTube life back on track and fix whatever's wrong with it!
Well...the midnight snacking will be hard to fix....I do like a good sandwich at midnight.
But staying up late and fixing my YouTube schedule are main priorities at the moment.
(And no, staying up and midnight snacking aren't completely related. You can WAKE UP in the middle of the night to go eat.)
This isn't a resolution. This is a GOAL.
Hmm....I'm having trouble figuring out what kind of intro video clip I should use. Well, no, not that....if I should just put my YouTube Channel, or put a slogan to it.
Like, "LOYAL DEFENDER
(THE WHITE KNIGHT OF GAMING!)"
Not only did I finally catch a Bulky Vendor for the third time, but some little brilliant bonuses are -
1. I got the third type of capsule, Prime Capsule, before it vanished.
2. I leveled up a Party Member just by catching the Vendor.
3. I got a new item, the Serenity Crystal from it, AND an Orichalcum! Very rare!
4. I got it on video!
5. For whatEVER reason, it panicked and, hilariously, got stuck in a wall for one-third of its short-lived existence, so I just stood there, watching it struggle and fail miserably at the same time.
6. LOOK AT HOW FREAKING CLOSE I WAS TO LOSING IT WHEN I WON! Look at it's HP! It went down to THAT much when I caught it! You can NOT plan this sort of thing, people! It just happens, and it's glorious!
@Alexshy Let it be known, you are friends not with an Alicorn, but a champion!
Me - "Also, I've yet to see a Bulky Vendor. I've been to Beast's Castle multiple times, at least, and I've yet to come across one."
a minute later, I reach the Checkpoint in the Land Of Dragons. A Bulky Vendor appears right in front of me, THEN IMMEDIATELY DISSAPPEARS WITHOUT LETTING ME FIGHT IT
Me - ". . . .
Now I'm pissed."
You know, leveling up my Drive Forms is no problem on its own.
Valor Form - you hit enemies.
Wisdom Form - You kill Heartless.
Limit Form - use Limit attacks
Master Form - Pick up Drive Orbs
Final Form - Kill Nobodies
The only trouble is, with Valor Form, it takes a LOT of hits to level up.
Wisdom Form, Heartless are difficult enough to kill in this form, and I usually need, like, 80 Heartless dead, and--
okay, scratch that, I just read up on this, and I somehow totally forgot I can still use normal spells like Fire, Blizzard, and Thunder, which have become much stronger. Just goes to show I'm kind of a noob with forms. xD
Limit Form, I'd have no trouble with, if it weren't for the fact that I can only use, like, two limit attacks, even if my Drive Form isn't close to being emptied.
Master Form is difficult because I need to pick up a LOT of Drive Orbs, although, there's some places in which I can pick up Drive Orbs with no need of killing enemies (I'd have to possibly deal with having to refill my Drive Gauge manually, though).
Final Form....ehh, it's not that bad, except for two things - Beserkers, and the fact there's not too many Nobodies in a lot of worlds in general.
All in all, it's well worth leveling up these Forms because I get REALLY nice abilities like Quick Run, Dodge Roll, High Jump, Double Jump, and Glide.
So....wish me luck on leveling these! I already have Valor Form leveled up as much as it can be right now (since unless you get a new Drive Form, certain Forms can only level up so far), so I'll need to level up Wisdom Form, which should be much easier now, Limit Form, which is going to be an ASS because of the literal LIMIT on Limit Form, Master Form, which, again, isn't so bad considering there's one level in KH II that makes Drive Form leveling easier, and....as for Final Form, I'll cross that bridge when I get to (and unlock) it.
So, note to those who play Kingdom Hearts II - NEVER USE DRIVE FORMS DURING DEMYX'S SECOND FIGHT.
Apparently you can't revert out of Antiform in boss fights..
We're broke, apparently, and can't even get any money for gas. Pay Day's on the 1st of February, so....there goes my plans of pre-ordering KH III..
I'm gonna try asking my mom to take me to Game King to sell my games, and hopefully earn any money at all, perhaps if not enough, CLOSE to enough to preorder KH III.
Hopefully she says yes!
This is how I'll present KH III when it comes out, and I have a copy in my hands -
I'm gonna wait until my birthday to get KH III, as the price likely will have dropped. I'll just need to figure out how to make KH II, Birth by Sleep AND 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage last for another month and a half.
(Strange thing, I had a dream I was fighting Julius, an optional boss, on PS4. I guess that dream was a future vision. )
In the meantime, I'ma make two celebratory PB & J's.
