Loyal Defender

So, really embarrassing story, as this was several years ago. It's short, but my family will NEVER let me live this down. It's hilarious to remember, though.

So, I was (and still am) really into video games, and this was when I still lived on my old street in North Carolina. I was upstairs gaming, and my stepdad called me downstairs, saying there was a really cute girl looking to meet me standing on our porch. (I remember the conversation was like, "Excuse me, is (your son) home?" My stepdad politely told her, "Why, yes, he is! Wait right there," or something. I went downstairs, and she was indeed really cute, and seemed really sweet. So how did I react upon seeing her? 

I told her I was busy, and went back upstairs. And my GOD, after later being told how it looked from someone else's point of view, I felt SO bad about it, that I would never forgive myself for turning down someone so cute and sweet. I feel so guilty about it to this day. But we look back and laugh at my own stupidity now.

Me: gets up from chair/bed for two seconds

My cat: “Oh hey, free seat!”

So, I just got back from watching a 9/11 documentary about how George W Bush's day was during the attack, starting out from jogging, to a night of spending a while in an underground bunker. 

Interesting thing, after the towers were attacked, the FAA (Federal Aviation Administration) ordered all planes to land, and closed down all airports. Whoever didn't comply was marked a bad guy and would be shot down. (It was a tough choice because innocent people were on those planes.)
Closing all the airports was something that had NEVER been done before.

So, get this. In Garry's Mod, I had this Portal 2 core of Wheatley that says lines from Portal 2. So, I'm moving him around, right? At one point, when near a portal, he phases through the floor. And the icing on the lie-filled cake is this gem he says next:
"Floor...what's the floor doing? It's holding everything up."

A certain hedgehog just scared the pants off me.

So, apparently, all throughout the week from now on, my mom told me, she's going to make me do things like hike, go to the gym, watch historical documentaries, some of that stuff, so don't expect to see me on as often.

You know how they say people wake up on the wrong side of the bed?

...I think the bed woke up on the wrong side, too.

I had the freakiest dream I'd ever had last night. I had a dream that I was dying. I wasn't sure what of, but I was in a hospital bed with a heart monitor attached to me. Friends and family were around me, some crying, others freaked out....I felt old. Like, 60s-90s old. I couldn't move or speak. It felt like my time would soon be nearing....It's the most terrified I've ever felt in my life.

I saw the micromoon!

 Tonight shortly before midnight is a SUPER rare moon that won't happen again for 30 years! Is also a lucky moon. that'll make this weekend amazing!

My boat has been hijacked.

So, I have a folder bookmark that's FULL of programs I have on my computer, and I've done something smart. I put the latest version number in the bookmark's name, and if I check the page of that program and find a version number different from the name, then I know it's been updated, and I rename it to the newest version. I rinse and repeat every so often when checking the program sites.

So, get this - I was playing Celeste, right? I got mad at the Chapter 9 DLC, and began using Assist Mode when my patience with it ran out. UNBELIEVABLY, I actually found a hidden moon strawberry collectible COMPLETELY on accident near the end of the level by doing so, and it was hidden in a room that you couldn't easily get to easily without Assist Mode. (I thought the room was the right way forward.)
