    You know how Make-A-Wish at Disney gives families fast pass?
    There's this Entitled parent story where this entitled dad had a make-a-wish family go in front of him before he  could have a turn to let his kid see Princess Aurora. And he said, 'I wish my kid had a disease so we could cut all the lines'.


    Some people make me sick, and makes my blood BOIL. :unamused:

    Anyone remember 2009's The Legendary Starfy? (The NA version.)

    We've well passed the 10th anniversary date (June 8th), but I remember getting the game as a kid nine or ten years ago. I still have it to this day, and it brings back wonderful memories when I see the game's playthrough. That might've also been the year I'd gotten my Nintendo DS.

    Just had a little argument with a friend and I honestly cannot believe the priorities of some people. Basically what happened was, in the middle of the role-play, rather after we swim started, I suddenly lost steam, and I told my friend that I just wasn’t feeling it. I honestly had cut in the middle of a role-play or the beginning shortly after many times before, but never just to mess with him. I wasn’t feeling too great, but instead of directly being understanding he starts complaining about how I always leave them in the middle of the role play when it’s his turn and stuff like that, and I’m just sitting here thinking, ‘so the top priority is whether or not I role play with them instead of him caring about how I’m feeling.’

     

    Pretty upset right now because I thought he would’ve been more understanding.

    So, here's a question for you all. Which do you think is more effective - 

     

    1. Seeing a movie or book, and when you play the game of it, you get the references in it, or 

    2. Playing a game of a series, then reading the books or watching the movies, and getting the references in them?

    I literally just thought I was about to die.

    I was having a plate of fruit for dessert (we have no ice cream, pudding, cookies, etc. right now), and I accidentally swallowed a huge piece of clementine, and it felt too big to go down my throat. Thank GOD it's squishy and easily swallowed, because if it wasn't, I would have died...

     

    I'm shaking, because I was so worried I was about to die...

      It was. I felt myself inhaling it, and didn't panic on the outside, but on the inside, I was FREAKING OUT.

    Finally, after spending over an hour working to get the Golden Winged Strawberry without dashing AT ALL in Chapter 1, I've finally obtained it! (It's much harder than you think! You have to climb using precision jumps and intense parkour to get up here!)

    Attempted the C-Side of Chapter 2 in Celeste (which is worth noting the C-Sides, while only three screens, are INSANELY hard.)

     

    And then THIS happened.

      That does look like a terribly difficult level, to be honest. :adorkable: Without having played the game, I'd say that was more unlucky than embarrassing!

      @Tacodidra The C-Sides are nut-kickingly, face-punchingly hard, yes. Thankfully only three screens, each increasingly difficult.

    Okay so
    My external hard drive had all the information and stuff on it, right?
    So, when I recovered my files after accidentally deleting them, most of the pics...werre then corrupt.
    So I realized my only chance was to go solo on attaching my drive VIA sata cable, since my Seagate Barracuda still had the ORIGINAL files.
    with only useless videos telling me how to do it
    And I did it all by myself.

     

    I taught myself how to connect an external drive via SATA!

    And so, with Kingdom Hearts 3 100% completed, so closes another chapter....until the next game, when the story shall continue.

    Kingdom Hearts 3 just BS'ed me, and I am REALLY annoyed.

    On top of that, I also found some old pictures of the 2017 Solar Eclipse I'd gotten and combined all into one.

     

     

    The way I did it was using my old iPhone 4S, and putting it behind the Solar Filter glasses.

    Use a shotlock from the Keyblades I currently have.

    So my HD PVR came in the mail today, and it's an HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition PLUS! A Plus edition of the original! I can record games again, if it works!

    So my external hard drive's data is safely secure! I'm glad all my files are safe!

      I have some "buffalo ministation" external USB devices which I use to take copies of anything important - then store them in my locker at work, just in case.

    Good news! As we speak, my files are now being transferred from one drive to another! My files are all safe!

      It was old and the power supply died.

      Ah, ok. normally I would just replace the PSU, but pulling out the drive and putting it in a sata caddy would be my second choice answer :)

      It's taking a slow computer to work it, but I don't mind. It's a fair trade off - slow file transfer for saving my files.
