Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, complete!

@Twilight LunaIf you mean BBS, that's the first technical final mix, chronologically.

I had a dream I was in Seaquestria again. It was glorious! For a brief moment, I saw Skystar, and then the dream ended. There's no dream like an Equestrian dream!

I remember having quite a few dreams about MLP...
In November of 2017, I had a crazy dream Tempest tried to take over my neighborhood. The first target to go after was ME. And she pinned me against a wall - the same technique I pictured her doing days before the dream. She kicked my ass, big time, in front of a group of people!
Then there was the dream I had of Starlight going against Twilight to see who would be vote best pony, with Starlight handing out voting papers that equalified whoever touched them. And tried to equalify me with one.
And then there was the dream of me fighting Chrysalis in a schoolroom once. She opened a portal and pinned me inside a janitor's closet.
I think I'm having dreams that I'm in a battle with every MLP villain ever..Oh, and the previous dream of Seaquestria was a small group of seaponies grabbing me by the hand and pulling me into different spots in Seaquestria, pleading me to save them from....something. I dunno what it was.

So, the EX Gummi Missions have requirements you must meet to play them. Having over 250 power, or 14 Wing Gummis, puting specific gummis on your ship or Teeny ship, etc...I have thought ahead and made three different ships that'll likely meet the requirements for these missions!
I am so smart! I am so smart! S-M-R-T! I mean, S-M-A-R-T!

sigh
I WOULD be the odd man out...everyone and their brother is playing Kingdom Hearts III. Everyone....
....except for me. It's like it's the most affordable game ever, but God said, 'Hah, in your dreams! You gotta wait your turn, son! Wait A WHOLE NOTHER MONTH TO PLAY THIS GAME!'
Not even Pay Day can help me out with this one...I know for a FACT my mom isn't willing to spare 60 dollars on it on Pay Day.

WHY DO I ALWAYS HAVE TO BE LEFT OUT?!
-
I've obtained every Sticker and Treasure Chest's contents,
put those stickers together,
synthesized every single item in Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix, including the Ultima Weapon,
played and beaten every mission and minigame,
Completed the Tournament and Paradox Cups,
beaten all 5 absent Silhouettes,
gone through the Cavern of Remembrance successfully,
defeated all 13 Data Organization XIII members,
satisfied all 13 Mushroom XIII,
and defeated Sephiroth and Lingering Will. There is NOTHING I cannot do!
Next stop, once I beat these Gummi Ship missions and beat Xemnas again, purely for satisfaction and fun - No Heart, once I level Terra, Aqua and Ventus up to level 99! Then Vanitas, then Unknown!
Then Birth by Sleep Final Mix will be complete! -
So apparently, alongside 100% completing Jiminy's Journal, I also have to complete all the Gummi Missions. Now 100% them, of course, but clear every single one. But I'm gonna do it in STYLE, and use the old Donut Block method!

@SithsShadoW Of COURSE. I NEVER complete the game without the Ultima!
'cept I had to the first time, since in KH II Final Mix, you can't get all the materials to make it the first time before beating the game.
-
I DID IT! LINGERING WILL IS OVER THE HILL! WOOOOOOO!
-
I'm officially doing it. I'm fighting Lingering Will using the cheese method. AND IT'S WORKING! FINALLY, I CAN MAKE THIS DOUCHE PAY FOR THE INSANITY HE INFLICTED UPON ME!
-
So, I've decided something. After I finish Kingdom Hearts III (or BEFORE, depending on whether I'd have beaten the other games by then or not), I'm gonna go back to the previous games and complete the majorly difficult challenges - yes, even No Heart and Lingering Will. I know I said many times I wouldn't do it, but then I came to realize:
No Heart's not that hard if I'm at a high enough level. Yes, he's an ass, but I learned something - his difficulty's toned down JUST a bit in the HD 2.5 ReMIX version.
Vanitas Remnant, also in Birth by Sleep, can be cheesed with his AI, due to hiding behind a rock and rendering him unable to attack, and I can just use Strike Raid on him over and over.
Lingering Will.....well, I'm gonna level up my stats all the way, and work hard to beat him. Plus, I've lowered his health to about halfway before. It's just the little windows of opportunity that make it hard to actually HIT him. And it's better to hit him in Final Form due to striking multiple combos. There's also the practice of halting combos at just the right time so he doesn't harshly retaliate. Or, I could go with the simpler version and cheese his fight by using Donald's Comet limit ability and air strike him over and over, but that'll take practice, too.
I wouldn't be a true Kingdom Hearts fan if I didn't attempt, acknowledge, and appreciate the difficulties in the challenges, and be mind blown at how well the fight was made. As Joshscorcher once said, "Just because a fight is hard doesn't always mean it's bad."

I'm going to share with you all yet ANOTHER one of my short but cute and cuddly stories. This one, I especially am proud of!
For those who don't want to download it, here you go -
SpoilerIt was cold. To you, it felt like it was Frozen North levels of cold. Maybe it was the cool crystals the place was made of, but for a castle, you’d expected a little more...heat. But you wanted that to change. You wanted heat. Warmth, maybe...and a good book. You were out in the hall now, looking for someone to snuggle with. You felt a little embarrassed having to ask anyone...usually you could keep yourself warm, but tonight it was oddly difficult to.
You knew of one pony who was the best at keeping you warm (not that it’s been done before...you just assumed), and that was none other than Princess Twilight Sparkle. Now, you stood before her bedroom door, feeling nervous. I mean...it’s not the fact she was royalty you were embarrassed to ask this. It was merely the fact it was seemingly a test of friendship. Giving a heavy sigh, you knocked on the door, awaiting your response.
“Come in!” Came a friendly voice. Uneasily, you opened the door, warm bedroom light flooding through the crack, widening as you opened it more. “Oh, hey! Didn’t expect to see you up so late. I was just busy catching up on some old dusty books,” She answers before you say anything. “But if you needed somepony to talk to, I’m all ears.” Princess Twilight Sparkle was laying in her bed, underneath a thick fleece blanket, with comfy pillows surrounding the head of it, with a warm lamp illuminating her and her pile of books. You entered and closed the door behind you, approaching the bed. As you approach, she adds, “It was, uhh...also kind of lonely. If you really want to, you can lay next to me. And I assume you’re in here mostly because of how cold it is?”
“Y-Yeah..” You answer, wondering how she guessed it.
“I’m not surprised, the report did call for freezing temperatures tonight.” She lifts up a corner of the bed with her magic and pats the newly revealed spot, implying to get in bed with her. You feel yourself blushing slightly. This was….rather generous of her. You didn’t even have to speak a word.
“Trust me, I know you’re shocked. But when you know a friend well, you know what they want at times. That and I’ve been out in the hall myself, so I can imagine you’d be cold, considering you have no fur.”
You got into the bed with Twilight as she lay the blanket onto you. Almost instantly, she scoots you closer to her, sort of bumping her. You two had indeed been bonding quite a bit since Starlight was taking care of Royal business in Canterlot. You and her were close, but...when she was away, you preferred her mentor as company, too. But now it was close to a point when Twilight really liked you. As a friend, of course. You felt immensely warm, but in a good kind of way.
“This book I’m reading is about ocean life. I’m almost surprised hippogriffs aren’t in it. Maybe it’s because they were originally land creatures. Do you want to read it?”“Well….I was hoping maybe you could….read it to me?”
“Huh….I’d never read TO anyone before...well, not in a moment like this, of course. But sure! Reading helps me relax, so I wonder what it’ll do reading TO someone. But first..I’m sure the comforting atmosphere of the room is making you sleepy. Trust me, it is for me, too. So, uhh….not sure how to word this, but if you want you could lean on me. Even ponies are aware of how soft they are.”
You move a bit closer and lean onto the Princess’ shoulder. Almost instantly, her left wing curls around you, almost like a robe. The fur on her shoulder and sides adds to the comfort of your position.
“Comfortable?” She asks, and you simply nod.
“Alright then. This one’s a good chapter – it’s about porpoises and dolphins, the majestic creatures of the ocean. I mean, heh, that...second part isn’t really in the book. They just fascinate me.”Her voice sifts to a soothing tone as she begins to read. “Dolphins are commonly known for their adorableness and general friendliness to many. They use echolocation to find objects in the dark, and are commonly used in rescue teams. The fins on their backs are often mistaken for that of a shark. However, they…..and like to…….often eat…...”
You’re surprised at how quickly you begin to fall asleep. The warmth of the blanket and the room, the softness and comforting feeling of her fur and wings, and her soothing reading voice all combine into a pleasant feeling you get just from listening to her read. You doze off here and there, but slightly wake up from a gentle nudge. “Are you falling asleep already? Or is my reading that actually boring to you?” She jokes. “I’m kidding, hehehe, I know how reading can be. Shall I keep going?”You give a sleepy nod, focusing on nothing now. She continues to read, and you feel yourself falling back asleep. “Whales have sizes that vary…..large stomachs….mostly consist of krill...prey is mostly squid….”
You feel yourself falling back asleep. When you momentarily wake up, Twilight has her books stacked back up, a hoof around your shoulder or arm, and you find yourself laying on….her chest? You’re surprised at how understanding she is at snuggling you. You thought this would turn out...much differently, maybe even a questioning look. But it seems like all those hours you spent with her in total resulted in her really trusting you. Now it seemed like SHE wanted to snuggle you. In any case, you felt safe, warm, and happy this turned out well.
You closed your eyes again, falling back asleep to face the day that awaited you tomorrow.

Just got back from the Game King, and...it was a total bust.
1. They didn't take a single thing I had to offer, not for cash or credit.
2. My stepdad said if I got a lot of credit, maybe I could buy him an SNES/NES controller to replace his old one. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to do that since they didn't take anything. He loves his console, and I would've gladly bought him a controller with my credit or cash.
3. I feel bad because now it was just a waste of 10 minutes and 8 miles of gas, the trip being all for nothing.
4. I waited all this time for a chance to go to the Game King, and now, I'm really disappointed to find out it was all for nothing..-
I miss my SNES - went to check something on it a year or so ago and found it was no longer in its box, nor were any of the accessories (such as the 3 controller adaptor, the controllers, the game carts etc). Now no idea if I loaned it out and didn't get it back, or if it was taken in one of the burgleries and I just didn't notice
on the other hand - I got an emulator for the NDS that lets me play SNES games on there, and of course zSNES for the PC (along with a bunch of the cheap usb look-alike controllers from china) - but miss my real one, plus of course now no longer have any legal right to play the emulated games due to not owning the real ones....

I'm feeling better now, and am focusing on Dream Drop Distance's mechanics..
I like how much FASTER you run in this game, and how jumping lets you land smoothly and run without a second's delay, unlike in previous games. I guess it's fit for the Flowmotion. It's great for getting around super fast!
Which, by the way, you guys who don't own DDD are SO missing out on playing with Flowmotion! It's SO much fun!
-
Mark my words. I am never doing the Lingering Will fight. I am never doing the No Heart fight. I am never doing any of the impossibly hard boss fights that I REALLY dislike. I'm going back on my promise to do the hard stuff. A real Kingdom Hearts fan would never put themselves through such horrendously difficult torture!
This game has made me ragequit two-three times. And that's most DEFINITELY enough.
Screw Lingering Will. SCREW IT.
'Complete Jiminy's Journal', my ass.
-
Edit - I just realized the audio here is all weird and buggy, but y'know what? Whatever it took to record this moment was worth it!
-
I came up with a neat little rhyme for when I finish pleasing the Mushroom XIII -
"The Keyblade master cometh
Behold, behold
Our keyblade master, Sora
Behold, behold!" -
Okay, I think I got it! I found out what I was doing wrong was, I wasn't tilting the analog stick in the direction of the Mushroom. So it would go flying and I wouldn't be hitting it in the right spot. Now that I'm attempting that, I'm close to 85 points.
-
No....you know what? I'm beating that Mushroom. Even if it takes me all day. Since my save file loads back to before I fought it, my abilities have been reset, so maybe I have a chance.
-
Maybe after I complete 0.2 A Fragmentary Passage, and before I complete Kingdom Hearts III, if I don't already own it, I'll possibly go back and do the tormentously difficult challenges in Kingdom Hearts. MAYBE. POSSIBLY.
Mushroom No. VIII's gonna kick my ass, though...I hated juggling it..
