I'm gonna try asking my mom to take me to Game King to sell my games, and hopefully earn any money at all, perhaps if not enough, CLOSE to enough to preorder KH III.
Hopefully she says yes!
-
I'm gonna wait until my birthday to get KH III, as the price likely will have dropped. I'll just need to figure out how to make KH II, Birth by Sleep AND 0.2 - A Fragmentary Passage last for another month and a half.
(Strange thing, I had a dream I was fighting Julius, an optional boss, on PS4. I guess that dream was a future vision.
)
In the meantime, I'ma make two celebratory PB & J's.

Kingdom Hearts Re:Chain of Memories is officially complete, both sides! Wooo! Tomorrow, on to KH II, which is already 25% done, cuz before, I ragequit Com. xD

So, in Riku's story, I'm doing beginner mode, making the enemies weaker, cuz DAMN IT, I deserve it! I get to make the game easier to beat cuz I worked my ass off getting past Sora's side!

Three words describe how OP and powerful I am against these Heartless.
* BUT NOBODY CAME..*

This is it. The day I've been waiting for a long time. The day I finally beat Marluxia and beat Sora's half of Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories.
I've leveled and trained up to this very day, this very moment in the future...and it begins and ends now.
(Well, once I can play games after 1 PM.) After having gained courage, given up, gained courage again, given up again, and FINALLY officially gaining courage, I'm going to finish off this frustrating boss, and bring my many years of haunting torments to an end! I can hear them cheering for me now,
"So-ra! Loy-al! So-ra! Loy-al!"My deck is ready, my strategies have been solidified into one helpful plan, and I'm raring to go.
Let's finish this, once and for all.

Ahhhhh, this series is so gooooood! I'd recently gotten into the Amulet series, and my GOD, is it glorious! Basically, this girl named Emily Hayes moves into a new house with her mom and young brother two years after their dad dies in a vehicle accident. In the house's rooms, she finds a mysterious Amulet, and has a job known as being a Stonekeeper.
The house belongs to their great grandfather, Silas Charnon, who disappeared from the house one day. Emily and Navin go after a tentacled creature who kidnapped their mother on their first night, and in the first book, go on a journey to save her.
This series is like the Daring Do series! Undeniably, unquestionably, un-put-down-able!

So, apparently Marluxia's 'Doom' sleight is represented by white tentacles of life-sucking energy. Sound familiar?

Holy crap! Using Mega Flare in Destiny Islands is SO much better than using it in Castle Oblivion since there's no fire-absorbing enemies to worry about! I finish the fights in about ten seconds, and gain a crapload of EXP from it!
I'M UNSTOPPABLE!

Marluxia's no problem, not much at all..
The only thing about this boss that worries me is he has an attack I need to be ready for. And I need six cards, values of 0 or 9 to deflect it with.
I have to use numbered cards to fight him, which wouldn't be so bad if I didn't have to instantly have 0 and 9 value cards at the ready when he uses his attack.
I have to literally be able to predict the future to know how to set my deck to quickly be able to get 9 and 0 cards.
Although...what I CAN do is get a bunch of 0 and 9 cards and put a card in front of those to mark them as Sleight Deflecting backups.- Show previous comments 2 more

@Will Guide Fun fact: Chain of Memories on GBA was my very first Kingdom Hearts game. Which, since it largely references events and characters from the first game, meant I spent 90%-95% of the game having no idea what was going on whatsoever.
-
Same here. Heck, I was playing it while me and my family were at the Sporting Goods preparing for the Ski Trip.

I was listening to 'the song from the EQG short 'Mad Twience', and my GOD was the timing perfect.
"Here I go, no looking back
working hard, and right I track,
I got it now, the puzzle's clear,
soon enough it will appear
(I think I'm gonna pinch myself, I can't believe it's finally here)"As these lyrics played, the long-awaited Mega Flare sleight was available to learn. I could never be happier.
It's like the song was conveying my feelings and thoughts for me!

Just learned the sleight Ragnarok. I'm gonna unleash HELL onto these enemies to make them pay. Mega Flare sleight, here I come! Just one level to go!
I knew returning to Chain of Memories would help me figure something out! I'm going to be completely unstoppable once I learn Mega Flare, which, if not takes out enemies, MAJORLY damages them! In fact, if I combine a card room which gives heavy damage to enemies if I get first strike, then they'll definitely be screwed!

I honestly wish my parents understood me more, instead of nitpicking at everything I do, and giving me punishments for every little freaking mistake I make. Punishments are meant to help kids learn not to do something again, not because they forgot to do one little thing that I forgot to do ONCE, despite having done it right multiple times. I left the back door open by mistake, and NOT because I was in a rush to get back to my games, like they also assume..
-
-
Punishments are really meant for breaking a rule, or disobeying someone, big time. Forgetting major or minor things, even after you did them just fine several times, is no big deal. Sure, being scolded or lectured is appropriate, but not punishing your kid. You can't make them officially learn not to forget to close a door, because it'd eventually happen again. Though you CAN make them learn not to stay up past their bedtime. (I mean, personally, I do it, but that's just because I'm homeschooled, so I can't officially be 'late' for school. Plus, schoolwork usually begins when I get up, so nothing's lost.)

Just listened to 'Tim To Be Awesome' as background music while I worked, and my mind has gone back to wanting to complete Chain of Memories so badly. SO!
Soon enough, I'm going to switch over to CoM again, and suffer through the painful torment of leveling up with annoyingly hard to kill enemies. BUT! If I play my cards right, I can get an advantage over them. So, let's say once I complete Disney Castle in KH II, I'm going to switch to CoM and work my ass off! I know it's going to be terrible. I know it's going to be painful. But I promised I'd do everything I possibly could in Kingdom Hearts, and I'm not going back on my promise! -
KH II's taunting level design in a nutshell, folks.
-
I'm hoping in KH III, they'll have Oakey Oaks as its own world.
Imagine getting to fight giant, terrifying, object-dematerializing aliens. So badass!
I know they had Chicken Little in KH II as a Summon.
But think of it like this - KH I had Mushu and Simba as summons, and in KH II their worlds were introduced.
In KH II, Chicken Little is one of the summons. So in KH III, chances are he'll have his own world. You'd get a Keyblade called the, uh....uhm....
Homerun Hatcher?
Ballcracker?
Something. It'd have the design of a baseball bat, with little fragmented eggshell pieces on the tip as the teeth of the Keyblade.

It should go without saying that after a while, trying to do origami will drive you insane, when you mess up that crucial little step to making a beautiful masterpiece.
Like, I'm legit pissed, I can't make ANYTHING!
So much for the damn origami mobile.
I guess it's better to use the origami cranes I made, even if it's not AS creative..

So, when the time comes, this is how I'll be getting through the Gummi Ship missions.

The idea is that the guns on the sides hit in all directions. And the Gummi Ship's shape makes it 98% unhittable.
The Neon Bars make the ship MASSIVELY powerful.
This is how I'll be getting through all the missions when I get all the Neon Bars. -

Beating KH II includes - Finding all the chests, stickers, completing every world, playing every single minigame, leveling up my Drive Forms to the max, going all the way to level 99 (before fighting optional bosses), fighting the optional bosses, defeating all 13 data versions of Organization XIII, playing every challenge in the Underdrome (or Underdome), unlocking the Ultima, finding the Mushroom XIII, using every D-Link, and filling in EVERY journal entry. AND, just for the hell of it, completing every Gummi Ship mission 100%, even if it does give me a crummy, worthless reward.
Bring. It. On!

I bet the Season 9 premiere will be about the Youthful Six planning on how to spend their first summer vacation, only for a new threat or danger to rise up!
-
After attempting to try out my idea - it's official - I can't...I can't do this. I really can't. I want to beat the game so badly, but I just can't. The enemies in Castle Oblivion and Destiny Islands counter my cards too much, and it's REALLY damn frustrating and annoying because I JUST WANT THEM TO DIE AND THEY'RE BEING ANNOYING LITTLE ASSHOLES!
Leveling up is a pain as a result, and I can't stand fighting Neoshadows when THEY WON'T EVEN LET ME FREAKING LEAVE THE ARENA! I die everytime I even try! This idea was stupid and ridiculous - I don't even know WHY I thought I could pull it off! I'm done with Chain of Memories, and I'm not turning against my word here! I'M DONE!To find is to lose. Right. To FIND the most infuriating part of the game is to LOSE MY GODDAMN MIND!
