Well, while I wait for a response, I suppose I could go ahead and post a list of the links that I have in case anyone else wants to do the same thing. In the list below, the general trend is that (IMO) good blogs are closer to the top, and the ones that are at the bottom are just there because I found the link somewhere and haven't even checked out the blog yet.

So, with this whole tumblr Apocalypse looming, I've decided to finally get around to writing a script that can backup with 100% fidelity whatever tumblrs I may point it to. This isn't about the nsfw content, but rather about how I suddenly realized that a significant chunk of the fandom can disappear at any point in time, and I want to prevent that. Who knows when a good blog will go silent forever. Writing the script is pretty trivial (I am already able to download blogs to my local drive and make the path conversions using wget) but finding a good list of the blogs on the other hand... This is where I need the help of anyone reading this. Got a favorite tumblr that you want an offline copy of? Let me know and I'll zip it up and send it to you after I've added it to my hoard. Have a bookmark bar filled with bookmarked blogs? Send it to me. Got a big text file with links saved in it, please let me have it. Specifically, I want the ALL of the best blogs, but I want to do a full archive, so I need links. Big links. Small links. Any links. The sooner the better. Thanks,

Hehe yeah. That's one of the ones I found ages ago and was one of the first ones I added to the archive list. Thanks for suggesting it though.

Hello everyone. I recently remembered some tumblrs which I had been following back in 2015 and decided to go check them out, and, to my dismay, some of them had been taken offline completely. AlwaysSunnyInCanterlot and TrixieIsMagic were two big ones. Anyway, I've decided to start downloading whatever ones I can to create an archive. I'll be starting with the best ones and proceeding towards the more mediocre as hard-drive space allows. My questions for anyone reading this are: 1: What are some of the all time best tumblrs and blogs from early in the fandom? 2: What are some of the best ones going on right now? (2a are pony tumblrs as popular now as they were a few years ago? Just curious) 3: Does anyone have archives of some of the ones that have been taken down so I don't have to write a script to pull from archive.com? Edit: Before anyone says anything, I know wikis like http://mlpfanart.wikia.com/wiki/Ask_Pony_blogs and http://tumblrpony.wikia.com/wiki/Tumblrpony_Wiki exist, but they seem inactive and I want to make sure I get the more recent stuff.
