    right so thankfully after placing it in a specific point of my window ledge the speeds have increased (to an average of 11,1mbit/s down and 13,7 mbit/s up) but it's not that reliably fast (hopefully my antenna fixes that and brings it up to 20-40mbit/s)

    Right so I got a Mi-Fi (treated myself to a Huawei one) but here's the problem,
    the built in antenna is absolute dogshit (my average speeds are currently 5mbit/s and about as unreliable as fixed line broadband, note it's a 4G router, I should be getting a minimum of 20mbit/s) so I had to buy an antenna so hopefully that comes soon

      I must have just gotten used to the newer one (I joined in late 2017) so idk,

      I just always go to my profile to make status updates and stuff

      The activity tab isn't really reliable for that though, as all activity, including just reacting can flush the statuses down. It's best to click that 'view their activity' button anyway. :P

      But yeah, even though I myself mentioned bringing about me as the default tab these years ago, I too got used to it showing activity, and I understand not everyone will like it now. :P

      Maybe is my pragmatism speaking for me, but there's just that much new info to read from somepony's about me section in the 10th time that it actually gets on the way if one already interacts with said user.

      Having it be the first tab to show is useful for just so many times before it becomes impractical. And we may say "hey, it's just an extra click". Yeah. One click that stacks up to a hundred or a thousand in a couple days. Seems like a debatable design decision.

    I know I'm a little late in talking about this video (like about a week lol)

    but the video "Identity: A Trans Coming Out Story" is honestly a great video about this, it's around 40 minutes long, but if you don't quite understand trans people,
    I would say to try to find a way to watch it, and it hopefully should explain a lot about it,
    There's a lot of philosophy behind it (which I find really interesting)

    I mean now I'm starting to get quite THICC, but my biggest worry of getting thicc is being seen as fat and ugly, tbh I'm happier with more meat on me, but it's far from healthy lol

    I honestly feel like the internet has improved original TV, for example I couldn't actually run an antenna in my room, and satellite and cable are inferior here in UK, plus I can't get satellite or cable in my room anyway (satelite doesn't work when it rains, and cable looks like an absolute load of horseshit, even on HD), So IPTV is my only real option, and it's great, looking about the same usually as the antenna

    I watch quite a bit of TV (I seem to be in the minority of people around my age nowadays lol), However since brexit I've really noticed how abonxious the advertising on TV has gotten, there's the show, and then like 5+ mins of adverts, then the show, then more fucking adverts, the joke here is that american TV is really bad for it, but really American TV is great for adverts compared to over here, I saw much much less adverts, they weren't all drug ones, mostly car ones (that actually make sense for advertising a car, american car adverts were much better than uk ones imo) with some insurance and verizon adverts (and I'd heard that the channel I was watching at this time was the worst for adverts, litterally speeding up shows for another ad break) so yeah, I tend to watch TV, just not as much UK TV as I used to, mainly Dutch and American TV what I watch nowadays, i can understand them, shows are great, and adverts aren't longer than the programme

    my height is about 5'8 or 5'9 (ok, I won't be mean that's 174cm roughly) and the last I checked (before lockdown, I can tell I've put on quite a bit of weight since then, but I'm scared of the scales lol) I was 10st (140lbs; 63,5kg) here you'd be considered a healthy weight, strange I wonder what one is the correct one

    yeah, I understand your side, my preference is to pysical (though I will admit I needed to condense my collection of dvds into a dvd box rather than keeping most in their casings) I personally hated having to use only digital for recent pc games, I'd rather have the option to have something physical, some prefer digital, some like both

    i see, that's good you've had good experience with it I'd just be wry cause digital isn't yours, and microsoft aren't the best when it comes to support I have my collection on DVD
