  1. So for notifications, do you all make it so you don't get notified when somepony reacts to your post? What about status update replies? Because it gets kinda annoying when I reply to somepony's status update and they have some 50+ reply long conversation with somepony else. I have no way of telling which status update they're replying to, so I have to check a bunch of replies that have nothing to do with me. Takes up a lot of time.

Just curious to see what you all do, so I can possibly save some time and effort. :)

It has been pretty annoying for me too. But I wish I could give you a solution. Sorry, man. :/

I wish it was the same way with reactions and status replies. If more than one person reacts to the same post, the notifications will be combined (if you're not online at the moment), but for some reason that doesn't happen with replies to the same status update.

But as I've said before, what annoys me the most is that all notifications are marked as read immediately after clicking the bell icon (at least for me). It's really easy to miss content because of this. :okiedokieloki:

For both of those, I have notifications on. Though I do find the second one annoying because it happens quite often. But those conversations in status updates usually happen between two or three people, so I see the pattern and just ignore the notifications that say one of those people replied to a status update. Well, that's my solution anyways. :adorkable:

@Tacodidra That does bother me a little too, but not as much as it did before. What I do is I start from the very last notification I got and go up from there. It doesn't make too much of a difference but I find that it makes reading the notifications every morning a little easier.
