    Ok, so today was fun! I did all sorts of things. :) 

    But I have an honest question. If any of you like modern rap (AKA the music most teenagers are listening to now) why do you like it? I’ve asked several people and none of them have given me a serious answer. I just asked my cousins and they got all mad at me.:dry:

    I mean oldschool rap is awesome, it’s just most of the lyrics I find in rap today are disgusting. I don’t get why so many people enjoy it. If any of y’all like it, I’d love to know why. ;)

    (Once again, sorry for not checking status updates. By the time I get back to my room it’s late and I really don’t want to have to check 40+ status updates. :( I’m gonna post this every night because I don’t want anypony to think I’m ignoring them. ;) )

      I really don't like most modern rap, unless you can count the Hamilton musical's soundtrack, which in that case I absolutely adore. :P I really don't understand how most modern rap is appealing to people who like it. I don't find the beat nice, the lyrics definitely aren't for me either. Whenever I pull up modern rap songs, all I can hear is "**** **** **** **** **** drugs **** sex ****" :unamused: But I digress, maybe there is an actual reason people like them, but I currently have not found one yet.

      I can't really say anything about that, since I don't listen to rap. 

      Thing is: I don't really like the genre itself...I see it like it's all about drug, killing, and every other bad thing. I know these are just prejudices, so maybe I'll start digging into this genre one day, but until now, the few things I heard haven't really hooked me.
