  1. Tirek has way to many advantages against Sombra. If he can absorb alicorn magic... he damn sure can absorb Sombra.
  2. It's because it's done in the worst way. Who the hell asked for a school of friendship?
  3. 1. Twilight or Pinkie - I can't decide between the two. Pinkie seems to know about nearly everything... even stuff Celestia doesn't know about. 2. Twilight or Pinkie 3. Rarity - She is clearly very intelligent. 4. Apple Jack - She is not dumb but she can be pretty ignorant at times. 5. Fluttershy - She is pretty average in intelligence imo. Nothing she's does makes me think she was smart or dumb. 6. Rainbow Dash - Besides a few remarks of observation no one else in the show seem to notice, "When you think about it... They don't really help." she's not the smartest person. She's not dumb either but she definitely does the most dumb things.
  4. I don't think any of these are unpopular opinions... I think the vast majority agrees with all of this. Not an unpopular opinion lol.
  5. I like Celestia more. Honestly I liked them both about the same but seeing so many people talking about Luna kind of pushed me towards Celestia I think. I also loved her trollish nature and wicked sense of humor. Discord bout to send another pony (one of your subjects) to another dimension... Celestia: ... Awesome!
  6. Just different opinions... it happens to any show. I personally liked the whole damn thing so I don't have any issues with anything.
  7. There are a few theories.... 1. Her Hair Was Never Pink... (Possible) 2. It Changed When She Became A Alicorn... (Unlikely) 3. It Changed When She Obtained A Certain Level Of Magical Control. (Most Likely) Honestly... There's A Solid Argument Against All Of These Theories. 1. Canon Story Board Photos Shows That It Was Pink At Some Point. 2. She Was Shown With Pink Hair While Being An Alicorn. 3. Why Hasn't Twilight Hair Changed In Anyway? She's On Par Or Stronger Than Celestia, Luna, And Cadance. I Still Think The Most Likely Theory Is Number 3 Because Power Doesn't Necessarily Equal Control... Could Be Something Special With Celestia... So On So On... A Lot Of Nuances.
  8. Discord and Twilight have similar type of magic... which can do a lot of different things. I think Twilight is stronger when it comes to power (being able to block discord spells, Her magic with 3 other alicorns is able to match or surpass Tirek who absorbs discords and most of equestrias)... but Discord is much more diverse (he can practically do anything). These are the only two characters I would consider when talking about the strongest character. The rest are behind these two one way or another.
  9. Tirek is not losing to anyone bar Twilight after absorbing discord. With Twilight power... he not losing to anyone except friendship bull. Discord is a bit of a enigma... If it's raw power... i don't think he's much more powerful than Twilight and the other alicorns. Cadance was able to block his spells... (While I will admit that she can also block King Sombre from entering a whole city for days without resting so it only makes sense she could block him). Twilight as a unicorn is able to block him when he first appeared. He can do quite a lot though.
  10. But it's still not her fault. She didn't do the evil... Luna did. It's Luna's fault. Celestia is not going to dump on everyone else parade because of her own personal feelings. That's not what a leader does. It sounds like you ignoring any fault on Luna side or the harm she caused to others. What about them... they need to apologize to her as well? She did the bad... don't forget that. You can't blame circumstance... Celestia didn't do anything to need to apologize for. Also, you can't blame people who don't want to forgive you for doing evil stuff. You also can't force people to care about stuff... you can't force people to care about you. The issues are with Luna... not anyone else. She had to work on her jealousy with her sister. She felt like she wasn't being appreciated... doesn't mean she wasn't. Either way, she made the decision to do evil things... that means it's her fault. She is the one that needs to apologize. Why the hell would the rest of equestrian need to apologize to Luna for? If anything, I wouldn't be shocked if some of them didn't trust her. You can't conform the world to spin for you.
  11. How is Celestia at fault? She is the reason but she's not at fault in anyway. She didn't shun her sister. Her not noticing her suffering does not mean that she is at fault. Luna is fully responsible for her own actions. You can't measure attention or try to even the playing field... people are going to like what they like and you can't fault them either. Also... season 2 episode 4 resolves some issues she had which led to nightmare moon. Also, also... Celestia mentioned never liking the summer sun celebration because it reminded her that she had to banish her sister to the moon... that's guilt. It doesn't have to outright say something is happening to understand that it is. Read between the lines a little.
  12. They all go to Twilight to fix problems. They wouldn't be able to stop her.
  13. I don't like the school... i don't mind the pillars. They probably should have stayed legends though. Pony of shadows could have been pretty beast as an actual villain that came back when they did the spell... but the pillars didn't. It felt like that was the danger of the spell to me. They just summon the villain and he's beastly. At the same time I wouldn't have minded a few episodes of star swirl bumming around equestria every now and again. It's like they took the ideas and made the worst decisions with them. "We just introduced 7 new characters and new places to the world... let's immediately add 6 more and keep them all in ponyville." Seemed dum.
  14. Twilight is definitely capable of becoming a damming villain. I think it's much more possible in later seasons but I also think it could have happened if the first episode hadn't happened. She was into magic like crazy and already didn't like people. That's a bad combo on it's own. One wrong step and boom. The difference between Twilight and Moondancer is that Moondancer liked people and wanted friends... she just gave up on it. Twilight didn't like people in the first place. She tolerated friends. Also it would be really hard to deal with her since usually everyone comes to her for solutions. If she really wanted to become a villain... who the hell is stopping her? Her fake clone was more powerful that the person that created her. If Twilight herself said screw this... it's a wrap.
  15. Please don't fall on the path of batwoman and get super preachy, sjwish... That's all i'm kind of worried about.
  16. The reason why getting their cutie mark was such a big deal is because it took such a long time. We suffered with them trying so hard to get them. Any earlier would have took away the proud feeling I believe.
  17. Trixie... besides looks... twilight is about as feminine as her brother.
  18. Season 1 it was like 90% or higher girls... later on though it becomes more like 50-50. They probably got a bigger budget.
  19. I would be interested in what she would decide to do. Twilight has always been guided by people who are honestly, less effective than she is. Princess of friendship? The girl who could barely stand people? How? How did Celestia decide Twilight was meant to do that? All she's seen u to the start of the show is a misanthrope/sociopath to the point she even worried about her making friends. How the hell do you see princess of friendship in that?
  20. I think it depends on how they do it. I personally don't like preachy stuff in general even if i agree with the point.
  21. It's definitely top tier... not to many shows on par with it. Never thought at my age I would be watching an entire series about talking ponies designed for little girls. The characters feel like part of the family after a while which really set it apart from other cartoons. The characters have development and change over time and such... become better people. Season 1 Twilight probably wouldn't be able to stand Season 9 Twilight with all her friendship speeches. Season 1 Twilight barely could stand people. I think on that alone... it's rated pretty highly. Another thing is that the bad episodes aren't really that bad... just the good episodes are hard to live by. MLP is somewhere between Top Tier and God Tier for me.
