I hate saying it, especially the third time on the same thing, but it needs to be said that the woke people are right on this one. The plot of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is heavily based on a far right conspiracy theory. One which has no merit and is probably based on a lie that was purely intended for a divisive purpose.

And at this point I'm honestly astounded I've only seen the anti-SJW people that kind of propaganda is supposed to appeal to covering it and saying that claim is ridiculous when all you'd have to do is watch the f***ing trailer at the part where they use footage from a speech done by a supposed ex-KGB operative talking about how diversity in American society is somehow exactly what the Soviets wanted in the Cold War (which is utter nonsense, because I'd think a political rival on that level would WANT society DIVIDED), to see that the claim is far from ridiculous, it's factual... But yet again, they just want to peddle on about how ridiculous woke people sound, even when they have to actually ignore the source of the issue to do so and actually commit the exact same logical fallacies they say (and are usually right) about the woke crowd committing time and time again.

I will say that cancelling any piece of work for its use of far right propaganda is not really right as it is censoring the freedoms of the devs and publishers, but I'd say to vote against it with your wallet. That's what I would do if I even had actual interest in the game, which I don't because every COD since at least BO2 (or maybe even MW2) has pretty much been mediocre at best from what I can tell.
