  1. I admit it: this trope matches me a little too well.
  2. It never really bothered me much. I had friends on a forum I used to frequent at the time I first heard of it that were actually friends of mine and made me really curious about the show, this was around 2011 or so. Then I began watching it in 2013, rest is history.
  3. As I figured. He's an extremely popular choice, and it's not hard to see why. I don't like her because I find her idiotic. The two characters you listed annd Tuvok are the only characters I actually care for from Voyager... The rest are blank slates to me. Either that or I don't like them whatsoever. I'm more surprised that nobody's voted Kirk as their favorite or Sisko as their least favorite, honestly. I'm also surprised by how many people don't like Archer. I thought he was a better captain than Kirk was until the third season of Enterprise, to be honest.
  4. Luckily I don't watch TV anymore. I didn't like seeing most celebrities, politicians (even though I usually have to look at their faces somewhere -_-), and shitty biased newscasters particularly: Donald Trump Hillary Clinton Charlie Sheen Bill O'Reilly Rachel Maddow Pat Robertson
  5. You're going to live until you die. So don't die.
  6. A TF2-ified version of the Ghostbusters theme.
  7. Corn Cakes.Pancakes taste much better, and have a more palatable texture.
  8. Probably will watch it eventually if I get there.
  9. It's been a really long time since I've really been able to play a a game to completion, but the most recent was Borderlands 2 on a save with Zer0. Did it with Axton at first and then tried with Zer0. I used to no like the game as much, but playing through it a couple of times gave me a renewed respect for it.. IMO, still has faults (Bada-- ranks, poor loot system, humor was a little more hit or miss, and I really didn't like what they did to Sniper Rifles and Revolvers in general) that made the original better. Still a solid ~9.5/10.
  10. What I;ve been telling them, and they've rejected it and said "it's because it's Teen Titans." That's literally the entire third and half of the fourth page.
  11. With Star Trek: Discovery getting to the halfway mark of its first season and me being about half a season of Voyager away from ending my recent binge of the whole series (upon creating this thread), I decided it was time to poll the community on the subject of Starfleet captains. Who is your favorite Starfleet Caprain? Who is your least favorite Starfleet Captain? I know who's probably going to be answered the most in both questions, but I just felt like asking. ____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ My Answers: My favorite is Jean-Luc Picard. A very philosophical captain that rarely did anything that really offended or really could offend, he's exactly what I'd want in a captain. One that listens to the concerns of his crew and addresses them, even always giving the respect of saying "your objection is noted" when his actions are questioned by senior officers even under the most trying of circumstances. Plus, he was portrayed as a captain who had his own way of commanding his ship, and his own personality that is as deep as it is well-defined. My least favorite is Kathryn Janeway. She is easily the worst captain for reasons I've [posted about multiple times before. She's an egotistical hypocrite with a contorted sense of morality that always sems to fit her actions, no matter how unjustified. She treats her crew in a way I find downright disrespectful (she's especially bad about it towards Chakotay and Seven of Nine), and she's a downright moron. It doesn't really help her case that SHE is the ONLY REASON Voyager got stranded in the Delta Quadrant in the FIRST PLACE... Also, the way I'd probably rank them: 1. Jean Luc Picard --------------------- 2. James T. Kirk 3. Johnathan Archer --------------------- 4. Benjamin Sisko 5. Kathryn Janeway
  12. I've watched the show and completely agree with what they're saying. Even then that "hate crowd" is basically everyone but the small few who enjoy juvenile humor, and completely shameful insults because it's Teen Titans still. That is how weak I see your defense. Saying my opinion is invalid because it's Teen Titans is pretty fucking immature if I say so myself.
  13. Another cold front is coming tomorrow. YAY.

Uh. Wow. XD I think up here they are forecasting lows about 0 to -5 degrees tonight.

@Kyoshi Most of the time the lows may get into the mid forties, and that's really it here. In Indiana it's probably more normal to have freezing weather this time of year.

Yeah, makes sense. This is definitely one of the coldest winters we have had in the state in years though.

  14. Aaaand you just proved your ability to read is selective. I posted as a reply to anoher post I'd treat another show the exact same way. You and the others are just making a false equivalency that's saying just because I don't like TTG means that I don't like it because it's Teen Titans, which is insultingly stupid. Yes I did, and you just quoted it. Actually no it isn't, distasteful humor is actually a pretty reasonable reason to dislike a show, but you can't stand insults to TTG because you're too biased in its favor to recognize it's faults. You're just acting like you do. I just disproved the other point that you made, that was the point...? I can't believe you can be this stupid for the sake of creating an argument.
  15. Yes I am. I'm judging it based on it's lack of merit as well as it's complete lack of respect for the show. Your false equivalencies aren't going to change the facts of my judgments. It is officially considered a spinoff...?
  16. Not true. It doesn't matter what it is a spinoff of, if something that bad aired as a spinoff of anything I would hate it for the same reason.
  17. I even bolded the place where he said it. How can you not see that?
  18. It was very solid and consistent aside from a few bad apples (Symbiosis -_-). It was honestly really hard to pick a favorite episode, considering how many are 10/10 masterpieces.
  19. I never really had a necessarily favorite episode, but if I had to say one it would be "Tapestry," the one where Picard dies and Q gives him the chance to change the way he lived.
  20. What is love? Well, love is stupid.
  21. The show as a whole for me is a pretty solid 9/10, even with the occasional episode that's downright bad (Magical Mystery Cure, Hard to Say Anything, Cart Before the Ponies). Honestly the show's gotten slightly better since Season 3 (standout season IMO, in a bad way) ended and I hope the episodes remain to have quality. I still think several shows are better, like Steven Universe, Invader Zim, and Star Trek: the Next Generation.
