  1. My western sign is Pisces. I feel like the personality type is me to a T. In terms of astrology, though, I'm much more interested in compatibility than personality traits. You don't need the stars to tell you what kind of person you are. My eastern sign is Earth Dragon. From what I've read, a Dragon doesn't really fit my personality too much. I'm not sure what earth represents or if it aligns with me. Something I've always thought was interesting: I was born 18 days late. If I were born on the day I was due, I'd have not only a different western sign, but a different eastern sign as well.
  2. I get to meet my parents in LA I think LA, anyway. We're planning a trip. They live in Michigan and I live in Japan. We thought Hawaii or California was a good central location to meet to have a vacation. I expressed a strong desire to go around southern California, but they haven't gotten back to me quite yet :\ I most want to go to Legoland.
  3. I just spent an entire day drooling over this channel. You tell me.
  4. Onision. He's such a fucking twat. He spreads misinformation and harsh judgments toward his young, impressionable fanbase. Most of the people I've seen in this topic are just "This person annoys me" or "This person doesn't make their content right." For those, I just don't watch. Why would I bother with something that annoys me? It's better to simply not pay them any mind. So anyone I don't like, I stop watching and they're quickly forgotten about. Onision, on the other hand, offends me. Despite the fact I will never watch another video of his, eff knows he doesn't need any more attention, the fact that he's even doing what he's doing distresses me. As such, unfortunately, I don't have the most accurate frame of reference to be able to provide examples. As far as I can remember, the point where I went "Okay, this is way too much bullshit for me," was when he said something to the effect that anorexic people or people with eating disorders just need to suck it up and get over it. That's incredibly offensive. And if he were just some nobody, yeah, it'd be equally as offensive, but who cares? Nobody knows him. The fact that he has such a large fanbase and they tend to be so young and be basically uses his channel as a platform to propagate such loathsome viewpoints is largely what bothers me. It upsets me that some young viewers are going to see that and start blaming others with eating disorders for their own problems. Or if someone with an eating disorder watches and they suddenly feel like they can no longer reach out to anyone because they should just deal with it. I'm getting depressed just thinking about it. The only other real thing that I remember is the whole thing where he said something to the effect of, if you've had sex with 20 people you're a whore, or something like that. And I was glad that that got so much backlash from the YouTube community, and rightfully so. But at the same time, I was sorta like, "You're just now realizing that he's an asshole?" And then there's been stuff about the girls he's been with. Not women; girls. I don't know all the details, but apparently, he likes to date really young. Which is really creepy. I can understand why, because he's so immature that he probably couldn't get together with someone his own age. Doesn't make it any less creepy. I'd heard stuff about a lot of serious mental abuse to these girls. It just makes me sad and disgusted and outraged all at the same time. And keep in mind, this is someone who's videos I only watched for, like, two days or so and haven't seen in at least 4 years. That is how much I hate Onision. His very existence on YouTube offends me. Pisses me off just thinking about it.
  5. Being that my OC is an alicorn, I'm all for it. I have three different thoughts on the matter: regarding avatars, stories and RPing. If it's an avatar, that's completely fine. In fact, I don't see why anyone should get mad over this. It's just an image meant to represent someone. So what skin is it off anyone else's nose if that person wants it to be an alicorn? If it's part of a story, then it depends on the story. Does the story call for an alicorn? Why? How is the characterization? Are the well-written? Are they well-developed? These are all questions which would factor into whether I'd like an alicorn character in any given story. However, I'm not against it on principle. And anyway, if you wanna write a bad story with poorly developed characters, again, how is that anyone else's business? I mean, if you want your story to be good, those are things you need to think about, and I don't think you can feel defensive if someone picks apart your character. But if you don't care about those things, then go for it. As for RPing, I think they only belong if the game calls for it. If they need an alicorn character, then you can be an alicorn character. However, this doesn't seem to be for most of RPing. I think if you go into RPing hoping to use your alicorn OC, you'll be disappointed, I think. On the whole, I don't see why it bothers other people so much. Unless it is regarding RPing, if that's what the person wants to do I don't see why other people have to have a stick up their ass about it.
  6. Anything stemming from a place of ignorance. If it's something which plays on a stereotype, but I know that it's not how the person actually feels, well, it's hit or miss, but I'm less likely to be offended. It depends on context and language, of course. However, if it's something dealing with a touchy subject like that and it's someone I don't know, it's impossible for me to tell if they're making a joke out of something because they're exaggerating a situation or if that's what they really believe. That kind of context is really key. Someone might think that it's silly to get offended over a joke, but when it involves serious subjects, it gets uncomfortable. It can aim to propogate even more ignorance, false beliefs and hatred and that scares me. If you're on an angry soapbox, a lot of people are turned off to that. However, if you can make them laugh, you're more likely to get them on your side. And if you're making jokes off of things that aren't true and people start to take them as true, it becomes a problem. Trust me. I don't want to be offended by jokes. But when it comes to real world applications such as this, context and intent matter. I think I may have told this story on the forum before, but there's this one episode of Family Guy. I don't remember which one, but there's a joke in there where Peter calls Lois an "it." It cuts to some guy saying "Women are things." Many, many years ago when I first saw this, it made me laugh. It was funny because it was, to me, a wild exaggeration. My brother, on the other hand, took it seriously and agreed with the show, as if it had just made some profound point about life. Suddenly, the joke wasn't funny anymore. It's this type of situation that I have a tendency to consider when people make jokes about touchy situations. And again, it's scary. I'm also disinclined to laugh at jokes aimed at someone. If someone's not careful, they can come off as really mean and spiteful really quickly. As for whether you, specifically, have ever told a joke that offends me, no, not to my recollection. *edit* Also, I'm very turned off by toilet humor. It doesn't offend me on any sort of moral level or anything like that and if people wanna make those jokes that's fine. It's just that 99% of the time, it succeeds at grossing me out far more than it succeeds at making me laugh. I think part of it is that people think that simply having it makes a joke. It does not. There needs to be an actual joke in there. Anyway, that's just one more form of humor I don't much care for.
  7. I get my blood drawn on a regular basis. It's routine to me, now. When I first started having health issues, I wasn't keen on the idea of having my blood drawn, either. After the first time or so, it wasn't so bad. But when I first started having my blood drawn regularly, I was a bit smaller at 12 years old. They used a butterfly needle when I first started having it done. It's a much smaller needle and it's connected to a tube, so you don't feel them switching out the vacutainers. It's not possible for all tests because a smaller needle means that it can break up some of the blood cells and you can't get an accurate test, depending on the test. However, if you ever need blood drawn again, it might be worth it to ask if it's possible to have them use a butterfly needle. Aside from that, when having blood drawn for tests, they usually don't take that much. It might depend on how many tests you're having done, but it's usually only a few ounces at most. Compare to when they draw blood for donations, when they take a pint. Occasionally, I've felt a little woozy after having blood drawn, usually when I was already tired. Living with a phobia of my own, I understand that your reaction may not be something within your control. However, if possible, it might be helpful to try some relaxation techniques in the future, so you don't end up passing out. My go-to thing is breathing, but there are a lot of techniques for relaxation that you can look up and try for yourself in a more controlled situation. Honestly, I found that half the reason I was so anxious when I was around bugs (my phobia) was because I'd stop breathing when faced with one and I didn't even realize it. Again, it's just to help you not pass out if you ever need blood drawn in the future. It's just a thought but you're free to do as you wish, of course. Anyway, hope your tests come back fine and you eventually find what's making you so lethargic. Best of luck!
  8. Sprite is my all time favorite pop. I also enjoy root beer (particularly Barq's and IBC,) ginger ale (especially Vernors) and melon soda.
  9. 288355 Second time I've gotten a number like this pattern; abbcdd. What happens when we get to a million?
  10. Element of vegging out on the couch to stoner movies with a big ol' bucket of popcorn and Code Red Mountain Dew on a Friday night.
  11. "Out There" from Hunchback of Notre Dame
  12. 6/10 It's nice and it looks like the art is pretty well done, but it'd be nice if it weren't a photo. I know you might not have a scanner, but, well, it's just my opinion.
  13. My OC in the realm of Equestria Girls. I used a base, but I can't, for the life of me, find where it is. Here's the image, but I'm pretty sure it's not the one I used. Anyway, it was a .png and I did this as a vector. So I did trace over it, but then again, I didn't have an actual vector base, so it took a little time. I don't think I made any major errors. I used a lot of clips in this one, for whatever reason. I've come to using vector art quite frequently for my own artwork. I think I've gotten a lot of practice doing it and I think I've improved with it a lot. My only real gripe with this is that I made the back of the hair to narrow in the upper part, so it kinda looks weird. Other than that, I think I'm cool with it. Anyway, here it is: My OC as reference. Also, a vector I altered some time ago:
  14. Yes. Everybody loves Pokémon games. Even the bad ones. Am I the only one who likes Garbodor?
  15. Two hundred eighty-eight thousand two hundred seventy-nine.
  16. Probably. I tend to wander in and out at will, so that kind of commitment would be difficult for me to stick to. I'll be, like, really, really into the forums for, like, the span of a month or two and then I won't show up for another 3 months. So, that, alone, would make me useless. Not to mention the fact that I have practically no filter on the internet, so I sometimes forget that not everything goes on a site like this. I'd probably end up not doing much of anything, thinking everything, basically, is okay. So, yeah, I wouldn't make a good mod. I'm not even a good mod on the stuff that I own. Yeah...
