An important thing to remember: no matter how bad his fandom gets and no matter how much hate we get, at least we are not the sonic the hedgehog fandom. Just remember that.

  Sadly, yes, it does. There are plenty of reports of inappropriate behaviour, even drink spiking at the cons, and of course we have a selection of offensive trolling behaviours within the fandom no better than those trolling from without.
  
  I could wish that, as fans of the show, we might adhere more closely to the principles it tries to promote, but human nature is not really known for following good examples
