    I wish I was diagnosed when I was young. I wasn't diagnosed on the spectrum until I was 32 years old, 3 years ago. Under the old names, I have Asperger syndrome. Wish I knew more people on the spectrum that had similar interests...

    I know it's unrelated to MLP, but did you know that Sesame Street now also has a character on the autism spectrum? She came out a few years ago.

    That doesn't make the action any less of a crime. Even if it isn't a crime in the Philippines, it's a crime HERE. That's all that should matter.

    I would think, if two jurisdictions have conflicting laws, the more restrictive would be the obvious one to follow. However, I m not a lawyer, nor a diplomat, nor do I play one at conventions or on TV.

    I don't think I'm going to leave the fandom. We're generally good people, even if we have a few rotten apples in the bushel. I still have faith in humanity and friendship.

    Yeah, I've been avoiding reading the actual chat transcripts and watching the victim's stories in fear of hearing the horror of what he actually did. I'm more interested in tracking his progress through the judicial system, any indictments, trial, etc. I want him to get the mental health care that he obviously needs, but I don't want him to escape justice either.

    I watched his response video to this scandal, yeah, he's really disappointed, and I hope that this doesn't tarnish the rep of the Brony community.

    Yeah I had never heard of him until I started branching out to less well known Brony analysts, including AnY and Goldenfox, and I am too glad that I never got into his content. I will be sure to avoid it from here on in. I'm glad that he'll serve time. I don't know if I want to closely track the judicial process re: him...

    That would be interesting, but I doubt the animators or DHX themselves would allow the community to use official assets, but maybe replicas would be permitted. Copyright is a bitch.

    I was diagnosed on the spectrum 3 years ago, when I was 32, as autism spectrum disorder (previously called Asperger syndrome). I had proper testing and am being seen by an adult autism specialist at the University of Washington. I was administered an IQ test (the KBIT, for those following along at home), and was given a composite IQ of 110. This explained EVERYTHING about me, all my social skill difficulties, and my restricted interests. I'm now receiving speech therapy, like I did when I was in elementary school, and it is being very helpful. MLP speaks to me, as being on the spectrum makes social skills and making/keeping friends very difficult. The show's morals and lessons reinforce ones that I didn't always get when I was younger.

    I'd like to network with the brony analysts on YouTube. I'd like to eventually start filming reviews of MLP episodes, not necessarily reactions, but proper analysis and reviews. Anyone here do that as well?

    I've been to a couple of SR's parties. They're awesome, met an awesome number of ponies, including SR Foxley himself. He's a great guy, really supportive.
