I'm not saying their perfect either but they aren't godawful. To me the worse thing about the 3DS were the bad launch titles. The 3DS is just starting to get some decent games. Oh and the fact that it needs a second analog stick. The Wii isn't even that relevant anymore seeing as the WiiU is coming out. I base a system's success on games not graphics, gimmicks etc.

Games can be ported to any platform. If Nintendo went away the games would come to the other platforms which would allow more people to play them. That's why a systems success is not based on it's games UNLESS the system introduces a unique feature like the wii did with motion controls. The WiiU doesn't really add that many new features that I have read about so I can't really say.

Well a Nintendo console anyway seeing as your not going to play Mario on a PS3.
