yeah that can be troublesome but they cannot get your private info and forcibly display it if you never shared it on anywhere

@R von Lohengramm, everyone leaves a paper trail, it's just a matter of someone being vindictive enough to dedicate the time and effort to find that information. Unless you dedicate yourself to goin completely off the grid, no matter how hard you try you've more than likely left at least some sort of small thread somewhere for someone to find and pull - hell, people have made a living out of finding said small threads to pull on even before the internet was a thing. Further more, a kid is far more likely to reveal private information either accidentally or on purpose due to simply not knowing better that doesn't mean that  absolutely no effort should ever be put in protecting them regardless of any "they should have known better, they're getting what they deserve" argument. I know that no one person/group/company/etc can or should be expected to police the internet, but neither should they get away with - for all intents and purposes - aiding and abetting stalkers and harassers, which this system as implemented by da seems to effectively do. Peoples live are in danger and for a company to be so stupid as to make it so easy for someone's life to be put in danger should never stand.

yeah but those people that do dedicate the time for that usually aim to get something out of that since it requires significant effort to trace individuals completely and I'd say that those who trace them are pretty rare so unless you dont go picking fights with basically everyone I dont really think those people have the motivation to start tracing you just for fun. since no one just picks someone randomly and starts tracing their trail.
