Now, they've gone and messed up his paperwork, keeping him in the hospital even longer. Our guy has no manor of luck what so ever.

Good news and bad news.
Good news; I am starting to write in my fic again!
Bad news; I hadn't logged into Fimfiction in a few months (irl stuff kept me away) and when I reached out to my amazing proofreader, he told me that he was hit by a car on New years eve and will be in the hospital indefinitely and from what I understand, the soonest he'll be able to proofread anything is late February.
Now, in terms of scheduling this doesn't effect me too much as I was planning going forward to get several chapters written, proofread, then publish several at once, instead of my previous approach of doing it one at a time as, even though I knew it wasn't feasible and I had no intention of even trying it that way, that I quickly found myself try to get a chapter out every week or two, leading to a great deal of pressure and sense of failure whenever I was unable to meet that deadline. And for anyone wondering, the reason I took a break from it in the first place was due to several family health issues coming up and me trying to deal with some of my own - not to mention...just, 2020 in general, really.
Now, as much as I'd like to link my fic here, for anyone who might be interested, it is rated M (due to violence/language, not smut), and the rules for this site won't let you link a fic with a higher rating than T. "Conscious compartmentalization" has become my go-to survival mechanism over the last several months. Putting my emotions in a box and shelving them for later may not be "healthy" per se, but in a state where healthcare of any kind - most of all mental healthcare - is both an unfunny joke and the lossy punchline, it's the best I can do. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

I'm so loopy from lack of sleep/stress, that every time I think about doughnuts I start to laugh, and I just saw a clip of the guard from TES4 say "Stop you criminal scum!", and I nearly had some kind of existential crisis/freakout. I think I might be 3 and a half bellybuttons short of figuring out the truth of all things. Please send help, thank you!

ANOTHER UPDATE: Here's the story so far on Joey-O. Yes, he is alive, in bad shape, but alive and on enough medication to sink a battleship, but lucid enough to talk and interact a bit. His Google account got hacked though, which is what led to all this going down. I'll let the man himself explain the rest ~

Ok, folks, I need your advice. I pre-ordered Cyberpunk 2077 collector's edition to do an unboxing/review, but I don't have a camera with which to record. Any advice on video cameras (not webcams) that would be good for something like this and won't wipe my bank account? I've got till April to get one(preferably a week before April so I have time to get used to it) so, there's no rush. Thank you for your input.
