  1. Al Murrayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy! (Sorry, there was a 20 character minimum.)
  2. Recently I asked someone for directions - he seemed eager for someone to talk to so I sort of befriended him for a bit and walked around town with him
  3. There's a trampoline park that recently opened. I don't know much about it but I think it's got obstacle courses with trampolines. I imagine it's sort of like a real life Super Mario game! Well, it's my birthday next week, so maybe I'll go
  4. I might have misunderstood, but, if you want to get to the bottom of an ambiguous plot point, I think you have to look at what the characters say - i.e., review the known facts and try to extrapolate from there. Only events shown on screen and factual statements made by the characters are canon, IMHO.
  5. Not a "moment", as such... but I nominate the quality of the animation. I think it was nice how it was noticeably better than the show. Unlike (say) the Simpsons movie, which just felt like a long episode of the normal cartoon. If the Simpsons movie was a bigger slice of the same cake, then this was the same cake with better icing (if that analogy makes sense!).
  6. I think the show would be more interesting if there was no permanent "Mane Six". At any given time, I think it's good to have a subset of characters who get more focus, but I'd let that focus change over time. Like a soap opera.
  7. I thought this post was interesting because it's like you've got two categories: characters you resemble, and characters you admire and want to resemble (Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash and half of Applejack). That's probably why people find the Mane Six engaging. They're relatable, but also admirable. Like realistic role models
  8. How about calling him Ben Yay? It works as a male name and is also how you pronounce beignet, the traditional New Orleans breakfast dish
  9. I would LOVE to be immersed in a VR world! I remember seeing the helmets on TV in the 90s and thinking it looked like the most amazing thing ever. It was always a fantasy of mine to try it. Sadly, when I had a quick go of an Oculus Rift at a retro gaming convention, it made me really nauseous. The sick feeling was very strong and almost instantaneous. I hope it was just because I wasn't used to it, because I'm still hoping to get my own VR helmet one day!
  10. "Secret Crush" by the Shake Ups in Ponyville! Great chorus and love the backing vocals.
