So sorry to have kept you all in suspense... but this fated day has finally arrived.
Now that I have seen all that My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic has to offer, I decided to write a review for each and every season, the movies, and the franchise as a whole!
Be prepared for this 18,000 word epic of mine. I leave no stone unturned!

Note that this will probably look a bit better on desktop than mobile.

Thank you very much... though my superb taste has always been obvious. Sincerely though, I decided to go with a winter aesthetic this time. I tend to get more endeared to it with time, especially as snow only gets more scarce in my area.
Glad to hear it, regardless! Do take your time though. Writing this was quite the undertaking, much less reading all of it.

𝒩𝑜𝓌, 𝑔𝓇𝑒𝑒𝓃 𝒾𝓈 𝒾𝓃 𝓋𝑜𝑔𝓊𝑒Spoiler... I waaas going to post this during your inevitable Staff annunciation, but it appears our dear Silky made an oopsie.
And thus, my work writing this haiku is for naught!!!
SpoilerSincerely though, Congratulations.

Thank you, @The Recherche. It means a lot to me.
From here on in, I won't give up.

Happy Birthday, Riki. Do tell if you end up doing anything exciting today, hm?

Happy Birthday, Alexshy! I hope you have held up well after all of this time. Do tell if anything exciting happened on your special day, hm?

Why, Happy Birthday, dear Si-
... ... ...
Wasn't there supposed to be a lovely birthday girl here? Hmm, how peculiar. I could have sworn that the banner said there was one at this very spot!
Looks down
Ah, there she is! The molecular, microscopic, shrimpy, miniature, impossibly tiny Administrator! Happy Birthday, smol one!
SpoilerSincerely though, Happy Birthday, Silky. I do hope you have had a lovely one this year!
-
Happy Birthday, MistDragon! I believe we have only spoken a few times in the past, but I do hope you have been keeping well nonetheless. Do have a lovely day!

Well, since you asked...
In the Age of the Ancients, the world was unfounded; covered in a murk of fog, home to archtrees, grey crags... and everlasting dragons. But then... there as fire, and with it, disparity. Heat and cold. Life and death. And of course, light... and dark. And from the dark, four beings rose to claim the Lord Souls within the flames. One of them being Gravelord Nito; the First of the Dead, in a world once ruled by immortal beings.
With the strength of Lords now in hand, Nito fought in the war against the Everlasting Dragons, alongside Lord of Sunlight Gwyn, the Witches of Izalith and her Daughters of Chaos, Seath the Scaleless, and the Furtive Pygmy... so easily forgotten. Nito unleashed a miasma of death and disease upon the dragons, and alongside the four other Lords, the Everlasting Dragons were no more. Thus began... The Age of Fire.
The other lords sought glory, knowledge, power; building kingdoms and immortalizing their names in the new era, but Nito remained mostly distant. Only spreading death and disease throughout Lordran, in the Tomb of the Giants where he rests to this day. But as the Age of Fire seems to be coming to a close, he is fought by and ultimately vanquished by a Chosen Undead. A hero who will claim the Lord Souls from the now withered and old Lords of the past, and Link the Fire with them, ensuring the eternal continuation of the Age of Fire, allowing life to continue, and for the undead to finally lay to rest for good.
... Or, that's what Frampt would have you believe, anyhow. Now that my little novel is written, please, do tell me about these Tyranids! I actually only have a rudimentary knowledge of them.

Please do! There is no time to waste! You're missing the most amazing show I've ever watched in my entire life! Do you feel the hype now?! Me, I feel it very much! I'm going to go watch an episode or two right now!
But first, I wanted to ask you if I could borrow this summary you made of tge universe of Warhammer 40k because I have a friend here who would really like me to tell him about Warhammer 40k! Your summary is so perfect! Well, of course I'll need to add that there is witches and spaceships in same time but it strangely makes sense! So what do you say?
Also, Yaks are pretty much the Orks of MLP!
-
Oh my! Well, I will need to up watching some FiM on my priorities list, then. A colleague of mine told me that Season Six was a bit rough too recently, however... which only makes me more curious, actually. I will try to get around to it some time within the next week or two, regardless.
And sure, please do! Just be sure to rectify my little error regarding the Imperium.
SpoilerDAKKA DAKKA FOR YAKKA YAKKA!!!

@The Recherche THIS PICTURE ACTUALLY EXIST?! YESSSSSS!!! YAKS GO FASTER WITH RED ARMORS!!!

Peace grants men the illusion of life.
Shackled by falsehoods, they yearn for love, unaware of its grand illusion.
Until, the curse touches their flesh.
We are bound by this yoke.
As true as the Dark that churns within men.All men trust fully the illusion of life.
But is this so wrong?
A construction, a facade, and yet...
A world full of warmth and resplendence.
Young Hollow, are you intent on shattering the yoke, spoiling this wonderful falsehood?SpoilerI just now noticed your About Me, and simply had to respect your impeccable taste.

What a pleasant surprise this post is. I've been playing the hell out of DS2 again. Despite its faults, I adore the game, its atmosphere and build opportunities. Aldia is one of the best characters in the entire series too, something I've really begun to appreciate. Shame he wasn't explored further by the other team.
-
I am glad that I am not the only Dark Souls II enjoyer. It's funny; I often have problems remembering specific areas and bosses from Dark Souls II, unlike the first and third installments. However, Dark Souls II, with the DLC especially, is much greater than the sum of its parts, I would say. Something about the huge variety of locations you visit, and the ups and downs of the game itself make it feel the most like a wild journey across distant lands, in an age where the Lords of old are long forgotten. And you simply cannot go wrong with power-stancing, of course; even Elden Ring agrees.
... And I will forever be salty that Aldia never had a cameo in DSIII in any capacity. The world needed more of his existential philosophy, I say! Even Vendrick had fantastic dialogue as well, really.

Re-bonjour, cher ami! I do apologize it took me so long to say hello again. Sadly, work is determined to be an utter pain in my rear lately, but such is life. I am sure that you can relate.
How have you been the past little while? Well, I am hoping?

I knew I was right to avoid Disney World, to be perfectly honest. Not that it wouldn't be fun per se, more that all of the changes to accommodate modern crowds would probably just make it a headache. Themes parks in general have never been my cup of tea, but I am glad you enjoyed yourself, nonetheless! I have always been more into Zoos and art festivals anyhow. Not to mention the horrifically upcharged refreshments.
But yes, I would indeed like to see what you have worked on! I don't have tons of free time nowadays, but I would be interested to see what you have written, whenever I do have a spare moment.
-
I don't blame you. Theme parks aren't really my thing either. Maryland has a nice zoo. I was there years ago and had a good time. We also have a topiary garden which is really nice during the spring and fall.
Here's the link to my story so far. I hope you like it.
-
Oooh, are you referring to the one in DC? I went there when I was a very young child, when my family and I used to live in Maryland. It was a lovely experience, from what I recall. I have not been to the topiary garden, however. I may have to check that out once I find my way back to Old Bay Land.
And thank you for the link! I will try to work it into my schedule, and I will let you know once I have given your work a read.

Just a quick apologies for likely flooding your inbox with tons of notifications from that update to Silky. That got awfully out of hand... even if it was a bit fun. Trying my hand at poetry was also a treat.
And thank you again for the signature! it is utterly impeccable, if I do say so myself.

I do hope you don't mind me asking; I have not actually met you in my whole time on this platform, even since 2018, so I presume you must have departed for one reason or another. My I ask why you were compelled to return? A nostalgic itch you needed to scratch? Or perhaps Pathfinder made you an offer you couldn't refuse to become an Administrator? You don't have to get into any personal details or anything of the sort; I am just quite curious, since you seem quite enthusiastic about being back in action. I feel as though I would have met you by now.
... Or perhaps I am more behind the curve than I thought after all. Look at me and my gaucheness!

@Princess Silky I should probably do the same. It’s past midnight over here. XD
-
Much obliged on the friend request! I must say, I don't believe we have met, but it appears you have been around the block far longer than I have. My most active period here was around 2018-19; I was quite the late bloomer, you see. I'm glad to see that there are still lovely lads and ladies with an affinity for MLP, regardless.
... Even if I am not too terribly fond of the Generation 5 content, but that is neither here nor there.

@The Recherche "DON'T YOU DARE CALL ME A "RAT WITH WINGS"!"
-
Dang, I totally forgot to say Happy Birthday on the first! I'm terribly sorry about that; I was at work that day, and it totally went over my head. I do hope you had a good one, though!
-
Unsure if you will see this, but do have a happy birthday! Only one more year until you can have alcohol in the USA!
America and its silly customs, hm?
-
Hey there Flutterstep. Do be sure to have a lovely birthday! Be sure to indulge a little for me, no?

Much obliged once again for the signature. It's quite fabulous, if I do say so myself.

Heyo, Twilight. Happy birthday! Do be sure to splurge a little for me, no?

For anyone who wants to say hello:

@Starforce The short answer is time. In an effort to keep MLPF more at arm's length, I am attempting to keep things a bit more casual with everyone. That is also why I don't use Discord any longer; I have something of an addictive personality, it seems, and those kinds of things devour my free time way too much.
I do apologize for that, and to anyone who wants to reach out to me personally. I think it is best for me that I minimize any kind of online activity that encourages me to stalk whichever platform I am on, basically. I have a hard time stopping once it gets started. It is entirely a me thing; not an issue with anyone or anything.
-
@The Recherche
Well, I definitely want to talk with you more when it comes time. I find you to be quite mysterious if I am honest as I don't understand some of the rationalization behind what you do and why you do what you do. You are unlike most I know on here, so I want to understand you better. But I am not one to talk, since I also left for a year abruptly.
-
Oh dear; I have been caught! Oh, that makes me terribly distraught!
Nevertheless, my time is up; Recherche is back, and I have no backup.
It's been fun, but soon it will be Thanksgiving, much more biased towards the world of the living.
So farewell, and Happy Halloween! Fret not; the last of me, you have not seen!
Spoiler
*** *** *** *** ***... Oh dear, that old hag made a mess of my profile, didn't she? I do understand that it is Halloween, but come now! How could I be portrayed with a name as vile as "Winkybunion?" Simply unthinkable! Oh well; Nightmare Night is over, so I suppose any spooky affects are now lifted for the time being... at least until next year. With that said, onward, to Thanksgiving! I hope you all had a lovely Halloween!
-
Oh, what's that? You hoped for The Recherche? I'm sorry, but she's gone this lovely holiday!
For this occasion, it is time to be spooky; that is why my avatar is quite kooky.
It is truly a shame, the bear and the bird... for years and years, they have gone unheard.
Nevertheless, it is now Halloween, so I shall gorge like a snooty philistine!
Courtesy of the website Rhymezone, I can now create such literary milestones!
With all of that said, and without further ado, mercy and restraint I shall now eschew!
-
An excellent series of rhymes, I say! Perhaps you could make it a career one day?
Oh, I am sorry; you are looking for Rarity? I will grant you no such charity.
Either way, thank you, my friend! I intend to make it terrifying, in the end.
Oh, and no need for humility; in your rhymes, you have shown great utility.
-
Happy Impending Old Age Day, my friend! Be sure to evade the nursing homes for as long as possible!
Sincerely, though, Happy Birthday!
-
I'm trying. Those two grey hairs are totally not there
Thank you for the birthday wishes, @Nightmare Recherche
-
-
So... it's finally over. Oh, what a wild ride it has been indeed.
I never managed to catch up in time for this day, unfortunately, but it is nevertheless incredible to me that we have managed to make it this far. There have been a great many ups and downs along the way, and while the finale was far from my favorite episode... it was worth it, in the end.
Either way, onward, into the future!

@Twilight Luna Considering the track record of MLP physical releases, I imagine you may be correct. Who knows, though; perhaps they may go the extra mile just this once, assuming such a thing happens at all? I'm not holding my breath, but I do hope something of the sort releases one day.

Care to guess who arrived in the mail today?
SpoilerThough I am not the biggest fan of Pinkie Pie, as most of you already know, I can happily as that I am thoroughly pleased with this Bishoujo.
My wallet certainly isn't, however. Little does it know, this is only round one of six!
Twilight Sparkle is next!

@Tacodidra Indeed I cannot! That said, I suppose I can wait for Rarity to release, while Twilight and Fluttershy have their time in the spotlight. If nothing else, my bank account certainly can.
... If begrudgingly.
